Naturally, the S8+ is faster than my old tablet. The return button, clear app button are not as convenient as older models. The ability to transfer data and apps from the old tablet to the S8+ is a great time saver, and made the presentation look similar to what I have been using. One detriment was the lack of a plug to connect the power cord to an electrical source. It was assumed you had a new USB power outlet, not the standard USB outlet.

It's mostly awesome, screen looks great. pen is accurate but the nib broke quickly. Tablets aren't really a great value for the price but especially as a college art student the functionality proved extremely useful. Drawing typing and web browsing are all you need it it does it all well.

Let's be honest: You're either choosing between this or an iPad Pro. At $800 it directly competes with the base model 11" iPad Pro. Spec wise, this offers a better screen (AMOLED vs LED isn't even comparable). Both have a 120hz refresh rate screen which is a treat for any mobile device. The Tab S8+ also offers a larger screen, which is much appreciated by me. The S Pen, while not a good as an Apple Pencil, is included in the box and not an additional $130 cost! The addition of a microSD card slot is also a dream come true (coming from an ex-iPad Pro user). Speakers a decent but they tend to get a little "tinny" at higher volumes. The biggest elephant in the room is the difference between chipsets in these devices: the iPad Pro features Apple's M1 chip while the Tab S8+ has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The M1 runs circles around the 8 Gen 1. However, despite the great strides Apple has made hardware side, iPadOS feels so limiting, which get me into software. Based on my workload on Microsoft Office and general social media apps, I found Samsung's version of Android to vastly outpace iPadOS. Multitasking seems so much easier on this device and Samsung Dex is a killer feature. Even without a keyboard and mouse, Dex makes multitasking a treat, giving the feel of a proper desktop. Honestly, Android is liberating is giving you control and choice. You're never limited to the Google Play store and always have the option of downloading 3rd party app stores for a wider variety of apps. Don't like the default Samsung skin on this device? Change it! Want to change the icons for apps? Go ahead! None of this customizable is unique to this particular Android tablet, but it's honestly so liberating coming from Apple's closed down ecosystem. Overall, get this tablet if you're looking for a premium competitor to the iPad Pro.

Good tablet, the size, display and the speed. The only thing that I have a comment is the weight which is a little bit heavy. Maybe because of the battery.

This tablet has a beautiful display. It performs very well but takes a while to boot up from scratch.

This tablet is well rounded for FPS gaming and watching movies. The 4K AMOLED screen and fast processor achieve this and mainly why I bought. Sucks the price on Amazon for this 2022 version is $420 and paid $600 on sale less than a year ago.

The Samsung S8+ Tablet was retailing for $899.99 when i purchased it around black friday 2022. I picked it up on sale for $699.99. It's a good product. I generally like Samsung products due to their quality and consistency of quality while also operating on the Android OS. I think my only complaint would have to be the resolution. It's a 2800x1900 display( roundabout). I was expecting tablets to be further along in display technology and resolution by 2022 due to the gact that my beloved Samsung S2 tablet has a higher resolution sitting around 2900x1900 or so. But Samsung is up to par with all the other tablets on market in terms of resolution so the room for complaint is minimal. My advice is buy a good wall charging unit because this model does not come with an adapter and the tablet eats up power, as expected, because its huge.

Wow! What a great screen. Spoils me for any other portable I use. It's not perfect, however. First, it takes quite a while to boot up. Second, battery life with basic use (reading, checking email, some video) is nothing to brag about. I find that it uses about 1/2 of its power in only a few hours. Finally, with a good protective case (and for $900 buck who isn't going to protect it) its heavy compared to smaller screens, obviously. I'd recommend being sure you need this large a screen and balance that with battery life and portability.

A high quality tablet with a very nice screen - although not AS nice as I expected for this price point. S-Pen included is awesome and works great. A really beautiful little device that packs a good bit of power. It's a bit of an awkward size that I don't quite know "when" to use. Wish keyboard cover options were better/cheaper.

The tablet is really nice. Good video. Pen works well. There were two things that bothered me. This is not a Best Buy problem, but a Samsung issue. There was no charger included in the package. I thought this was a routine inclusion. Also, there was no instruction manual as to the operation of the item. Had to go online and find one. Maked getting started difficult.

So far so good, after a few weeks of use the system setup wont complete however, feel i need to contact Samsung. I can use the tablet for everything i want and need, but the drop down menu still shows "click to complete set up" screen is beautiful, pen works great, though i recommend purchasing a case.

Great tablet. But pencil falls off way too easily. But, just get a case that folds over and covers it and youre good. Battery life is shorter than i expected, but still a SOLID tablet.
