Product fine, in store experience was unacceptable

The smartwatch itself is solid and works as expected so far. No issues with the device performance. However, the in store pickup experience was extremely frustrating and well below expectations. I purchased the watch online in “Open Box Excellent” condition, which clearly states that all original accessories should be included. When I opened the box after pickup, the charger was missing. I returned to the store within minutes and was assisted by the same employee who had already been dismissive during pickup. When I explained the charger was missing, the response was essentially “that just happens,” followed by “I don’t know” multiple times when I asked how this would be resolved. There was no attempt to correct the issue in line with how the product was advertised. Instead of resolving it, I was told I could return the item or go buy a charger myself. I ultimately had to purchase a separate charger for $40, after being pointed to the wrong area of the store twice by the same employee. This wasn’t just inconvenient, it reflects a lack of training and accountability. If an item is sold as “Excellent” it should meet that standard, or the store should make it right without pushing the burden onto the customer. The product is fine, but the customer service experience was poor enough (Best Buy, Arrowhead Location, 8290 W Bell Rd) that I would reconsider shopping here again.

Decent but not for us

Product looks nice has some good features. But wouldn't do what I needed it to do. And Samsung stated it would and I followed steps. Battery life was horrible for little usage. Returned for full refund.

As for brightness, readability, connection to my ohone its 5 star. As for battery - its a joke. Less than 2 full days and recharge?! I flew through VietNam with a timex! Modern watches are for modern people. I find this great when its charged. Charging it quick like a few hours. It can be set to get longer usage as a watch instead of all it does. I kept it, it works fine, younger smarter android users may get more use from it. Otherwise its eyecandy for me, very clear, my phone does it all. Oh, and the watch band is one cheap piece of S*! Buy another goid one for $50 - not a chance on a $400 watch. 3 star for me is generous.

Good but definitely not great

Good watch with the exception of its size and battery life, competitors are pushing 7-14+ battery life while Sam and another fruity brand are 2 days max. It's still a little big for my wife's wrist. Plus the OLED failed after 6 months with no physical damage. This is the second one. It's a good watch but far from great. It also does not play nice with other brands.

Cool watch, TERRIBLE battery life!

This watch has plenty of features, but the battery life is really disappointing. Even after disabling all the recommended battery‑draining settings and switching to a simple watch face, I still have to charge it after about 36 hours. I “upgraded” from a Fitbit that did almost everything this watch does—minus calls and texts—and lasted far longer. For the price, I expected a much better experience.

[Employee of bestbuy] I love the look of the galaxy 8 watchs, especially if you get a blingy case for it! I was used to. a Pixel watch 4 and I didn't like the user interface of the watch, it was a little more difficult to set up. I also had to charge it everyday and my previous watch could go two days.

Doesn't stay charged as long as they say. I've been waiting for this watch a long time since my other one has broken. I do really like it don't get me wrong only thing is is I wish the battery would last more than just a day being a new watch.

Will not connect to Galaxy S24 series phones. I also bought the Galaxy 8 Classic. Returned both of them because they would not connect and Geek squad could not figure it out either. Can't recommend to buy it if I never had a chance to use it, but based on my experience alone, I do not recommend the hassle.

I had to return this item as it was not compatible with my Motorola razor. Some of the health tech only works if you pair it to a Samsung phone.
