So I saw where a customer who wrote that if you want to use the Keypad, then the APP is non-responsive and visa-versa. Does the product have a basic defec in that if I change the access code can I use it both with the keypad and the app ????
You will not have any issues at all. You can use both.

Approximately how often do you have to change out the batteries?
I installed it in May, with a lot of daily use and still no battery change. I am not sure when yet.

Hello - read a response from a customer who said that if you use the app, you cannot use the keypad. Is this still the case? Another user stated you can send out 1x access for certain users. Is this not possible if you're using the app?
You use the app to create multiple user codes, which can be changed and even set to expire, or only become active at certain times ( cleaners come once a week same time). The keypad is used in conjunction with the app. Punch the code to enter the door. The other reviewer may be referencing programming the keypad from the keypad itself which in my opinion defeats its functionality.

I changed the batteries on the deadbolt and now it doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?
When I removed batteries from my device, I followed instructions for set up. The device works great
