This one is famous for its long-term accuracy; an excellent aggregate drift of 13 seconds every month. Plenty hard case, it’s even, attractive and don’t scratch too easily. So is the Hardlex crystal glass. The lumes are efficient, if not outstanding. It’s the even laying that does it and the 7S26 caliber needs just a couple of twirls to be initially charged after a prolonged resting period. It will not need any further special attention.
It's powered by Seiko's in-house 7S26 automatic movement, which self-winds with the motion of your wrist and doesn't require a battery. This movement has 21 jewels and a power reserve of approximately 40 hours.
The watch has a timeless and elegant design with a modest 38mm stainless steel case, making it comfortable and suitable for a variety of wrist sizes and occasions. It features a polished case and a matching stainless steel bracelet.
It has a unique grey textured dial that adds visual depth. The silver-tone hands and markers provide excellent contrast for easy readability.
The dial is protected by Seiko's proprietary Hardlex crystal, a toughened mineral glass that offers better scratch and shatter resistance than standard mineral glass.
The hands and hour markers are coated with Seiko's LumiBrite material, providing good visibility in low-light conditions.
