Will It cut off when u cut the vehicle off or does it stay on

While parked, it checks the car's location every 4 hours, so your location stays accurate and up to date even when the engine isn't running. It won't simply cut off when you shut the vehicle down.

So if the unit was removed from the vehicle does it indicate removal in the app?

Additionally, the device has a built-in backup battery, which allows you to continue tracking the location of the removed device for approximately 20–30 minutes after it’s unplugged.
