On 3/16/26 I ordered a pair of SHOKZ Open Move headphones through Best Buy’s online store. I picked up the order when it was ready on 3/25/26. I was talking to my mom on the phone using these headphones and she could not hear me. I thought maybe it was my Wi-Fi connection but it kept happening and it happened while talking to two other people. On 4/21/26 I spoke to Shokz directly and they determined the product itself is defective. I have not had luck with the manufacturer to get my replacement so I went back to Best Buy to return the item and they said that the return window was 15 days. I explained to him I wasn't just returning the item because I didn't like it, it is in fact defective. I spoke to manager Zachary who said that if I bought the Best Buy membership for $50 that he could return the item and give me a refund (less the $50). I told him that I didn't want the membership. I don't shop at Best Buy that often to warrant a membership. I told Zachary that I didn't feel good about this. It's not like I’m trying to pull one over on the store, the item is defective. I don't want a replacement because I have lost faith in the product. I don't want store credit because I don't want to shop with a company that is trying to extort me into giving them more money. I called Best Buy Customer Service and spoke to a supervisor named Tina. I told her what the situation was and that the item didn't work. She said she could not do anything either. She told me only the store manager could do an override and I told her that the manager of the store offered to give me a refund only after I purchased a $50 membership so it’s not a matter of what Best Buy can't do, it’s what they choose not to do. This is extortion. I don't see how a business can be allowed to force a consumer into buying something just to get a refund for a defective item that same business sold to them in the first place. This unethical business practice has made me lose all trust in Best Buy and I have shopped here off and on since the 90’s.

I purchased these just to see if they worked like the reviews say, well to be honest they sound like a cheap transistor radio listening to AM radio. Volume was weak also and practically no bass, took them back and got the JBLs 235nc which I had before I lost a Bud.

Tried them on ,must have different sizes mine kind of draped off my head or hovered off the back of my head and it could be me but i couldnt hear them that good when other background noise was around.

I biught tjese for my daughter whinhas some hearing issues. We ahve tried them but they arent whatvwe need for her. Upon attempting tonretirn them I could not as 45 days had passed. MAYBE i shouf have answered “yes” whem asked if theyvate defective. Anyhoot, I connected them tonmy ohjne hand have attempted numerous times, but the volume is a definite issue. Eother tohers cannot hear me or if I increase the volume otnos SOnloud foe me. So yeah these are not at all what I thoight they would be.

After about 2 months I noticed that headphones would shut down when they got to down to 20% charge per the app. So essentially 20% equals 0%. Reached out to Bestbuy and I was told that it was now a warranty issue and to contact Shokz directly. I contacted Shokz and they initially responded within a day to my inquiry but have now ghosted me. They suggested I do a few things with the headphones to possibly reset them. None of their suggestions worked, and I informed Shokz of the results. Again no further response from Shokz. So 20% charge equals 0% and they turn off.

I purchased these and they worked great at first. Then they would not charge. They were within the 1 year manufacturer warranty. The initial steps in the warranty process went well. I sent them back to Shokz and they sent me an email saying they received them and that they would be warranted and would ship within two business days. Thats the last I heard from them. I’ve sent several emails with no answer, tried to call the phone number which were not working ( technical difficulties). If you purchase these get the extended warranty through Best Buy so you can deal with them. SHOKZ HAS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!

They were purchased for my 15yo who didn’t like them to which I’m glad because I love them. I have Beats Solo pro and I know that’s apples and oranges but the quality is something you would expect from apple,Bose, or other high end devices.

The headset worked perfectly- I am very sensitive, have TMJ and at times migraines- the salesperson said he loved his and they stayed charged for minimally two days. I work online and use a headset for minimally three to five hrs somedays. These work off of your jaw with a vibration! Unbelievably disturbing! Returned after trying for three hours

Overall the new technology is a good idea but,i really dont care for the new shockz because they dont get very loud and when you do turn the volume all the way up it tickles your ears

These stopped working two weeks after they were eligible for a return via Best Buy. They were getting normal daily use, and simply turned off and now they won't charge. The company is supposed to have a two-year manufacturer warranty, but I've filled out the form online and have yet to receive a response.

This was bulky and uncomfortable especially with glasses. I returned it and bought the Shokz Mini instead. The mini fit much better.

Don't waste your money! They sound terrible and are very uncomfortable on your ears and the behind your head band doesn't stay in place and hits your collar when turning head. I returned them the next day after i purchased them.

This headphone sucked. The worst pair of headphones I ever purchased. Went in the store to exchange a pair of Sony WI-C400's. I was told they stopped carrying them, and I reluctantly bought this as a replacement. Worst pair ever. Returned them and went on ebay and found 4 brand new pairs 400's for a song. Don't buy these.

After 4 months of use, this device does not work anymore. I have contacted their warranty department, but as far as this product goes, it has not been the best one I have come across.
