Its mid. Nothing to brag about, nothing to really complain about. The sound isnt full, but i think thats more of how its transmitting sound and less of product quality. For the $60 i paid, it does its job well.

The head set is too small for my head. Although the reception is very good they fit tightly on the tip or tragus part of my ear making them uncomfortable.

I purchased these because I liked the idea of not having to stick thins in my ear anymore. Overall Pros: - did not have to stick things in my ear anymore -the sound quality was great - The mic for the phone call was clear (it did have some level of noise cancelation that made it easier for whoever I was talking to to hear me and not pick up background noise to a good degree). - they were light - good battery life. - you can still hear things Cons: - It does not have adjustable straps, meaning that it will sit on your head as is. - After some time, the way it was conducting noise made me feel uncomfortable. Which contributed to my lower rating of the product.

I gave 3 out of 5 for no multipoint connectivity, meaning you cannot be connected to 2 devices at the same time. You have to manually switch from one to the other, at this price point I expected to have multipoint connectivity. Otherwise the fit, the battery, and the sound are really good. The construction is very sturdy and there is some heft and authority when handling the headphones, it does not feel cheap and fragile.

Comfortable, decent battery life, quick to charge and nice case. Background noise is a bit of a problem but in the office setting they’re ideal.

I think the idea IS great however the downsides outweigh the positives. Pros.. surprising good sound. Light weight. Fast charge. Usb-c!!! Cons.. if you wear glasses with thick ear pieces the fit is meh! In loud environments (like walking next to a busy road) the "open to the air" design makes hearing terrible. Turning up the vol works kinda but when the environment goes quiet all of a sudden your sound is blasting! Overall.. for certain situations these would be great. The opencomm vesion for office would be great...

Overall, the OpenMove is a decent set of headphones, and I’m keeping the set simply because I prefer the bone conductive style of headphones, but I'm still disappointed in the sound quality. I previously owned a pair of the Trekz headphones (a previous model offered by Shokz) and was very satisfied with them. Unfortunately, the OpenMove just don't have the same audio quality as the Trekz. This model doesn't handle bass well at all and the audio gets distorted with music that has heavy bass. I also found that turning the set on and off is rather difficult; you have to press the power button just right to get the set to respond properly, otherwise it just tells you the power level repeatedly. I also found connectivity to be an issue at times; several times I found the audio cutting in and out when the device the headphones were connected to was within 5 feet.

The sound for the Shokz headphone is great but the connectivity is not convenient. You have to turn the device off and bring it in the pairing mode to change the connecting devices, which is very painful. The band that goes behind the neck bring the headphones on an odd position if you want to listen to the music when lying on bed. Overall, good for people like me who do not like the headphone which goes inside the ear and creates vacuum.

Not sure how to classify these. They aren't really all that great from a sound standpoint, but then again that may not be the point. I got them to be able to listen to music and directions during a family road trip. However I found them to be not nearly loud enough to cut through road noise. After about 2 hours of continuous use I could not do it anymore due to pain around my temples.

My husband got these for me as a Christmas gift... my first pair of headphones ever ( i am almost 60 years old) . I tried them and will never use them. They are supposed to sit behind your head. Not comfortable if you are using them while reclining, leaning back in a chair, or browsing your phone in bed. They slip down the back of my head, so my husband told me i had to hook them over my ear. Ouch. Then he suggested putting my long hair over them. That pushes them off my head. These things click/pop as you scroll through social media every time you hit a video. They also make my skull feel like its buzzing. I bought a regular pair of padded jbl headphones today that sit on top of my head, for 1/3 the price of these and I love the regular headphones. Sound quality is much better, they stay put, and there is no popping. The only advantage these 'bone conduction' headphones have is the ability to hear outside noise. That's the opposite reason I want headphones.

It works, but is a bone conduction headset. It is a different experience from an audio transducer. It does not have the best fidelity, range, and certainly not deep or tight bass. But it is one of the few devices that fit well during physical activity. And it works well for hands-free communication. As a bonus, it leaves your ears free to engage with the world around you. So it may be “meh” as an audio device, but has other features that make it stand out.

I love these headphones because the bone conduction allows me to hear my surroundings as well as my programming and they have great mics for phone calls. I also have conductive hearing loss in one ear which doesn't matter because of the bone conduction feature. I would give them five stars but all three sets that I've had so far have failed. I've returned them and they were replaced for free but it's a hassle. I now keep two sets so I'll have one when the other fails and has to be returned. Be sure you register them for warranty on Aftershokz website!!

Basically its like taking a regular pair of on the ear headphones and putting them just in front of your ears. Not going to work in loud environments like around vacuums, air compressors, Power tools, but in normal environes people wont have to shout to get your attention. Unless the more expensive versions have any improvements other than the extended battery life, not worth it to me.

The sound quality is decent for the price. You get what you’re willing to invest in. I preferred my other Shokz better (the newest version) these fit a bit uncomfortably but still get the job done.

[Employee of bestbuy] The cheapest option, but also the best in 1 key way: USB-C. The other higher end variants have a proprietary dock used for charging, so if that breaks, or you lose it, good luck finding a quick fix. The only option is contacting Shockz and ordering a replacement. That said, these have EXCELLENT build quality similar to the other units, and they even support multi-device pairing, but because they aren't supported by the Schockz App, switching between sources can be troublesome. They also lack the audio fidelity of the more expensive options (obviously), and wind up vibrating on the higher volume levels. With all that said, I feel like I've come across overly pessimistic on the OpenMove's. If your prone to losing things, on a budget and need a well built pair of open back headphones, these are a good option. But if Shockz would move it's whole line to USB-C, this would be hard a pass....and the battery life is rough...

This product changed the way I use headphones, very comfortable and they don't bother my ears at all, my ears ended up hurting if I used regular headphones for a long time. The only flaw with this product is that over time the microphone starts to fail and people stop hearing calls.

This is a one size fits all bone conducting set of earphones I bought for swimming. The sound is not great out of the water, it’s terrible, no base at all. Inside the water it is awesome as long as you are completely submerged. Also, fit is not adjustable. So that is an issue.

for a starters this an amazing tool for people who don't like to have there totally plugged and prevented from hear the ambiance around them. This item is a very good quality product. my issue is when I sync it to my work 2 way Radio there is no functions unlike its predecessor model. AfterShokz need to update their firmware to work with it.
