Bundle - Sigma - 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens for Sony E, with UV Filter and Cleaning Kit

The Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary is a high-performance, ultra-fast wide-angle prime lens engineered specifically for crop-sensor mirrorless camera systems, including APS-C and Micro Four Thirds formats. It delivers a highly versatile effective focal length, making it an industry favorite for landscape photography, astrophotography, indoor architectural work, and high-quality vlogging. The core of its design centers on a massive f/1.4 maximum aperture that provides exceptional low-light performance and shallow depth of field, allowing creators to drop ambient ISO settings in dim environments while isolating subjects against a smooth, creamy background bokeh. Structurally, the lens is built using Sigma's Thermally Stable Composite (TSC) material to preserve tight optical tolerances during extreme temperature fluctuations, and it features a dust- and splash-resistant rubber sealing gasket around its solid brass bayonet mount to shield internal components from harsh outdoor elements. Optically, the lens utilizes a complex arrangement of 16 elements in 13 groups, heavily packed with three FLD ("F" Low Dispersion) elements, two SLD (Special Low Dispersion) elements, and two glass-molded aspherical elements. This sophisticated layout aggressively controls optical aberrations, sagittal coma flare, and geometric distortion to maintain tack-sharp resolution from the center to the extreme corners of the frame, even when shooting wide open at f/1.4. To satisfy the demands of modern videographers, Sigma integrated an internal stepping autofocus motor (STM) that delivers fast, decisive, and acoustically silent focus tracking, preventing mechanical noise from bleeding into live audio recordings while remaining fully compatible with in-camera lens aberration correction profiles. Weighing in at 14.3 oz (405 g) with a non-rotating 67mm front filter thread, this lens seamlessly balances lightweight portability with professional, studio-grade imaging capabilities.
