SimpliSafe makes an excellent security system at a very affordable price. It was very EASY to install and can be done in a short time. I am very glad I chose SimpliSafe. HOWEVER, I had problems with the security camera, which doesn't really provide security, just evidence and possible a scare away for an intruder who spots it. I could not get it to read the QR code from my phone--possibly it was too small. I contacted SimpliSafe and they worked with me quite a while and sent a replacement camera. They have an excellent crew and service! I couldn't get that camera to work either and contacted Simplisafe again. We agreed I needed to return the system. Later, I decided to download the SimpliSafe App to my tablet, which I seldom use. The camera had no trouble reading the QR code from the tablet. And, it did work, BUT not that well. I believe it is because of my internet connection speed. It was grainy, slow and would keep disconnecting. I informed SimpliSafe they need to get some data on the camera size and the internet connection speed. I did return it, but I then purchased a system without the camera.

In my opinion it's the best DIY security system anybody can buy these days. Super simple to set up and if you ever have any questions there's friendly contact support center is very helpfull. great web based set up and mobile interface. I really like this system and I would recommend this product to others

The system was easy to set up and seems to work well. Had some trouble getting the camera connected but eventually got it working properly.

I would have given this a 5 star rating except for a few minor issues. First, the instruction manual was very sparse. It needs to have more illustrations with the instructions to make it easier to install/set up. Second, I had issues for a few days getting the camera to work. It would work for a few minutes then just go offline on its own. After several days to trying to get it to work the camera did an auto update while plugged in and since then it has been working perfectly. Overall, I really like this system and I would recommend this product to others.

This security package covers just about all of the essential bases for a typical, smaller home. If you have never installed anything like this or want to be logical or neat about the installation, then I would estimate that you could invest 6 - 8 hours in research, reading, planning, and installing. It works great, though.

Great Home Security System, very easy to self install, great web based set up and mobile interface. Low monthly cost with no contract... I highly recommend SimpliSafe!

I was in the security business for over 30 years and just moved to Topeka, KS and needed a new security system. I decided to try the SimpliSafe Wireless System. I purchased it from Best Buy and installed it in less that hour. It works perfectly and after having it for more than three months with no false alarms, I have to say I am very, very impressed with the quality of the system. I am happier with this system than any of the multi thousand dollar system I used to sell and install. I would recommend this product to anyone. Very easy to install and program and use! I found this set to be adequate for a modest home, especially for an initial set up. I liked that everything was in one box instead of having to buy components. I have some mobility issues which made a couple of placements challenging. That would be true of any system. I really like that I can take the system with me if I move and that I'm not locked into a contract for monitoring. I wish that I could monitor myself without having to get the higher cost monitoring. That's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

Install was a breeze and super easy to set up. Took little to no time to get everything running and it works like a charm. Definitely worth the money for the piece of mind.

I unfortunately had my home broken into and did not have an alarm system. I came upon Simplisafe when I did a bunch of online research and found the reviews very helpful. I love the fact that you can self install and it was so easy to install. I also love that I am not locked into a contract and that I can move this alarm system when I move out and self install again. Over all they have great customer service and I feel very safe having this alarm system.

I'm quite pleased with my purchase of the SimpliSafe home security system. I have accidentally caused the alarm to alert where as I was contacted by the security company to alert me the alarm had been triggered. They altered me via call and notice on my phone. Customer service can be drastically improved as they're not the most receptive or friendly.

This was very easy to set up and SimpliSafe also had excellent support. I would highly recommend this product.

The Simpli safe home security system is a great addition to any home, business. We bought ours and spent a couple of hours setting it up which is super easy. One of the sensors wasn't working out of the box, and it came with sim card that wasn't supported in our area. We called simpli safe and they over nighted us the equipment. Alarm works perfectly we are extremely happy with our purchase and to get away from ADT. We now control every aspect of our alarm. No service call fees for repairs. So before you call ADT to get an alarm you have no control over. Or ask VIVANT about their product which then they harass you. Show up at your house without you wanting them to come by. Call you at all hours. Saying BEST BUY asked them to follow up. STEER CLEAR and get Simpli Safe!!!

Watching my apt and pets while away made easy with this set up.

I had this set up in less than 30 minutes. Love that it uses command strips to attach the sensors. The jury is still out to see how well it works in the event of an emergency, but I hope that it doesn't need to be used.
