Can I add 2sets of Sonance - MAG8R to this kit and run the speakers in parallel? making it 6 speakers total?
Hi, Thanks for your question! The Sonance MAG SSTVAUDIO kit is a 2.0-channel system powered by a Sonos Amp, which is optimized to power a pair of 8-ohm speakers. While technically you can wire multiple pairs in parallel, adding two additional MAG8R speaker sets (for a total of six speakers) would drop the impedance too low and could risk overloading or damaging the amp. What is the best technique for painting the speakers? I need them to be very dark, close to black. I don’t want to affect the sound.

Will this amp work with Sonos 1st gen system?

After a quick Google search, it appears that Sonos Amp will work with the Sonos S1 app. I would reccomend contacting Sonos Support directly to verify this prior to purchasing this system. Will Sonos TruePlay Tuning work with this set up when these are being used as just front left and right speakers?
