Is it possible to choose a specific frequency to pair the transmitter and receiver? The 5.8 GHz would be ideal since no wall in between the two and no interference between Wi-Fi Devices.
Answered by Sonance TeamHi, Thank you for your question. The Sonance Wireless Transmitter and Receiver Kit does not allow you to assign the operating frequency. During the pairing process, the wireless transmitter looks for interference in the surrounding area and automatically chooses the optimal frequency band from 2.4 GHz, 5.2 GHz, or 5.8 GHz. This tri-band design allows the transmitter and receiver to be highly resistant to Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi, and microwave interference. I hope you found this information helpful. I know this is designed for Subwoofer, but can this also be used to extend surround speakers powered by a separate amp? Will the unit add any signal noise into the amp?

Will this Sonance ms wireless kit work with a sonos ultra sound bar and subwoofer
Answered by Sonance TeamHi, Thanks for your question. The Sonance MS Wireless Kit will not work with a Sonos Ultra soundbar and Sonos subwoofer. Sonos soundbars and subwoofers use Sonos’ proprietary wireless connection, and they do not provide the standard line-level subwoofer outputs required for the MS Wireless Kit. The MS Wireless Kit is designed for use with non-Sonos systems that have a traditional wired subwoofer output and a powered subwoofer with line-level inputs. The receiver has 2 RCA jack connections but my Pre-out for Sub is a single jack. How do I connect them?
