So disappointed. Bought the ARC soundbar and added this for surround. Very difficult to pair, and if you need to reboot your WIFI, this will disconnect and you need to do the whole pair and reconnect again. If you power goes out, you lose WIFI or for any other reason you have to start all over again. This has actually worked maybe 4 months out of the 1.5 years we owned it. We previously had a Klipsch 10 in powered subwoofer that would shake the entire house when watching a movie. When this works, with the small 6-8 inch actual speaker, there is no shaking going on... it does round out the sound of the sound bar, but that's about it. The issues with it constantly disconnecting from everything makes it nothing more than an end table to the couch for the most part.

Wasn't happy with it. Sent it back along with the rest of the Sonos system. It seemed like it only produced a very narrow frequency range. Mostly muffled thumps. That was my third sub so I have an idea of what one should sound like. The Sony sub I replaced it (the whole Sonos system) with was far superior.

As a subwoofer add on for a sound bar this is VERY expensive. If you get a Sonos Sound bar and you want to add a subwoofer you are pretty much forced to spend the money here. That money does not buy you a far superior subwoofer, it is just the only option that is compatible.

It’s a fine product. but it’s just nasty that Sonos doesn’t allow you to use the subwoofer out on a Sonos Amp for a surround sound sub. yup, NASTY!!! They could just put an rca sub out on the ARC too, but no, that would be far too nice for Sonos, they squeeze every last hundreds of dollars out of you. Don’t even get me started on S1 incompatibility. NASTY

I dont hear the deep rich bass on regular music. Its only achieved through HD or whatever the music equivalent is. The sound to me is lacking, it does not fill the room like one would expect from an item in that price point. I purchased the 5, the arc, the ones and the subwoofer and they all sound like a bunch of speakers playing together. Sort of like deconstructed music

First time trying sonos and I have to say im underwhelmed. I expected much more. I will say the setup process and app is cool. If you have ever owned Bose, then this will be the total opposite of that. Bass is very light. But I guess this is just personal preference. Im sure many people prefer this sound, just not for me. Returned. It is nice looking though.

I love it but I couldn’t connect it. I tried and tried and definitely I should return it. I bought the big one on December 23 and the same. But this time the Tecnician told me had the WiFi damage and I couldn’t complete my sound bar.

Solid build and powerful sound. But it has a low grade buzzing sound. Had return it.

Thank you very much for your review. We would encourage you to do a couple of things to get the best sound in a large room. 1) If you or someone in the home has an IOS device, run TrueplayTuning. You can find this in the room settings. It will tune our products to the environment of the room. 2) You can adjust EQ to your liking. 3) We do offer dual Subs which is perfect for large spaces. Meaning, you can have two of our Subs on one soundbar. <img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/stratos-logos/logos/john.milton.jpeg" alt="john.milton" title="john.milton" style="display: block !important; margin-top: 2em !important; border: 1px solid #ccc !important; padding: 2px !important; background-color: white !important;" />

Purchased late June ‘21 from Best Buy. Started crackling within a month. Long service process for replacement. Sent a refurbished unit even though I purchased new. Replacement unit now has no power. Out of patience. May just junk unit and sell rest of my Sonos equipment. Arc and Move sound great otherwise, as does the Sub when working.
