Is this lens compatible with the sony a7iii? Does the lens achieve that distorted effect on human subjects at a closer proximity? Or would I need to opt for the 10-18mm?
Answered by SonyListensHi camera321, the lens is compatible with the a7iii and yes it will produce distortion when the lens is placed near the subject in close proximity. If you would like a more extreme distortion, a wider lens focal length lens like 10-18mm will be more effective.
