Bought this 75" XBR900F earlier this month. I have to say it has a gorgeous picture. With just a little tweaking, the colors are very natural- very life-like. Good detail, too. Theater quality 4K. Blacks are pretty deep. It not an oled so they're not perfect, no doubt. But, they're pretty deep. My son (who is a professional AV guy at a major Strip property here in Las Vegas used the term, "Oh, wow!" when he first saw the picture. I really like it. Oh, and the Android operating system isn't nearly as clunky as some reviews have noted. I find it easy to navigate, especially with voice control. I replaced a 2015 65" LG 4K UHD 3D with this (the LG is in the guest bedroom now). While I prefer the LG wii-style remote, everything else is superior on the Sony. Great buy from Best Buy. I highly recommend this product.

TV was extremely easy to setup and gives you an awesome picture. Android interface can be a little slow and does not allow for Apple TV but is easy to use and offers a plethora of downloads for everyone. The work around of course is the purchase an external streaming devise so I went with Amazon's Fire Stick 4k and problem solved. I don't care for the remote as buttons are close together in the middle area and I also hit the live tv button which switches to over the air viewing. Also the remote is on IR controlled. Fire Stick remote is RF and easy to use so this problem was solved. Used CNet's picture setting to help optimize the picture to my liking. I use Bose Surround Sound system so tv audio does not matter in my review. Geek Squad delivery and setup was easy and took about 20 minutes total time. Overall, I love the tv and am very happy with my purchase.

The picture is stunning. Inky blacks. Vibrant colors. I don’t find the interface to be slow at all despite a lot of criticisms about this. Is there blooming on this tv? Only slightly when I’m watching at night have I noticed the slightest amount of bloom into the black bars during a bright outdoor scene. But it’s not enough to be distracting. You’re not watching the black bars after all...right? Most scenes I find the bars to be inky black. Enjoy some photos I took while watching Blue Planet and Ragnarok.

the motion processing, colors, sharpness and features on this tv are great. The only thing that keeps me from giving it a 5 star is the same thing all TV sets that have the fald (full array local dimming) technology struggle with. And that’s blooming. On a dark scene, if a single small bright image shows up, the led lights closest to the image light up, and a lot of times the zones that light up are bigger than the image so the black areas around the image light up slightly. Text in the middle of a black screen will cause light zones to turn on so instead of just text lighting up, a halo of light will surround it also. Full bright scenes it’s a none factor. Other than that the set is absolutely amazing. Dolby vision is cool but don’t let that be the only reason you buy this set cause there isn’t a ton of Dolby vision content out. At $1,799 for the 75” 900f set, I’m still satisfied. In a bright room the tv still looks vibrant and bright. The remote control app available on iTunes and I’m sure on google play, is convenient. It has all the apps i use on my Apple TV so I almost don’t even turn the Apple TV on anymore. Streaming 4K content looks amazing. I can only imagine what the images a dedicated 4K Blu-ray player would produce. Soon I’ll find out. I was between the samsung qled 70 or the 80 and the quality of the picture on each of these sets in a 75”’screen the Sony presented the best value to me. It was an upgrade from my 55” and my little family couldn’t be happier!

I am really big on home theater. I know all the pros and cons to all types of TVs. I’ve had this tv for about 2 months and it DELIVERS! Once calibrated the picture is amazing. Don’t let some reviews fool you. The blooming is very minimal. The blacks are very good. Not CRUSHING LIKE OLEDS. Colors are spot on. The Android Operating system works great. The speakers sound good. With a tv like this it should be connected to a home theater anyways. So no focus should be on the tv speakers. Just my opinion. All around this was an excellent buy! I am very satisfied.

Purchased this about a month ago and the image quality for movies, 4K content and directv is phenomenal. I watch a lot of sports and the motion blur was just too much for me. Coming from an 8yr old plasma, it was a deal breaker for me. Ended up going for the oled LG77c8. It is really in a league of its own. The 900F is a solid LED but for the sports heavy watchers or if you’re coming from plasma.. it leaves a lot to be desired motion wise. If that’s not something you routinely watch this is an exceptional display.

Between the Vizio Quantum P series and Samsung Q7, I ended up getting this set. Money well spent and even without calibration this tv is amazing out of the box. The FALD feature is worth the extra money since I can tell the difference from my bedroom tv to my family room X900F set up. I installed this in a well lit family room (see pic) and have no problem with glare on a straight viewing angle, side viewing like any non oled set is compromised but not a deal breaker for me. I plan to purchase another one this time a "65 X950 for my masters bedroom soon.

I had been trying to decide between this tv an an LG. The staff at Best Buy said that this tv has a better processor and things like bluray disc would appear better on this screen. Setup and install was pretty straightforward. I'm an android user so I already had a gmail account which made the setup easier. I'm not completely used to the user interface but it's growing on me. I do still prefer the LG interface and their "magic " remote but the actual Sony tv is better and I now have Alexa controlling most functions. We have enjoyed several family movie nights so far. I would definitely recommend this tv.

Amazing TV, picture quality is just wow, I've had this TV for almost a month and I'm very happy with it I've always been a Sony fan ,last Sony TV is ten years old and still works great , I just wanted to upgrade to something bigger and i love it didn't realize that it would be such a big difference ,everything looks so real, picture quality just amazing. Added led light strip behind it and just pops out more.

I went in to buy an 85” TV, upon arrival the sales person asked me would I prefer size or quality of picture? After looking at the Sony I was hooked, because of price I went down to a 75” and have been 150% satisfied with the sound and picture quality. I recommend this TV.

I got this TV for watching 4k Blurays, streaming and gaming. I don't use the TV for cable. Pros: The game mode does a good job for keeping input lag down on my Xbox One X, PS4 and Switch (Which was one of my bigger concerns). The picture looks awesome! Menu navigation is pretty easy. Cons: I don't really like the stand legs that come with it. Not that its a really bad quality, but I just feel like they could have been better.

Put this tv in my room mounted on my wall when I lay back In my bed the tv watching experience is awesome . You have to make sure you put this in 4K mode and vivid and quality really stands out . Gaming is good on ps4 you have to really pick the picture that fits well for gaming . Picking the brightest is best or else it’s to dark .

Replaced our LG 55 which was beginning to have issues. Read a bazillion reviews and ordered a Samsung, which I cancelled before pick up thanks to reading more reviews. This Sony is ridiculous! It is huge, and the picture is just amazing. Installation was simple, but it is heavy. Set up was a breeze.

Awesome Smart features color is ultra realistic, not cartoon / video game like on Samsung. Integration to Marantz receiver is slick. Great investment for the money.

I love this TV. Great picture, great features. This is the way you are supposed to watch 4K. I paired it with the Sony HTST5000 sound bar and its awesome having Dolby Vision plus Atmos. Just make sure to get good cables, adjust the settings accordingly, and enjoy.

I am so very happy with this TV. With my old Sony 70” I had to close the blinds in the day time to watch TV with this unit I have no glare and picture is as bright as it can be. My friends are amazed at how good a TV could be. Love, love this Sony X900F Series.

I bought this SONY tv skeptically but at the strong passionate recommendation of the BestBuy sales guy. The setup was easy and quick and it produces an excellent pictures. The picture quality always surprises me each time i turn it on. Granted is the most money I’ve spent on a tv at the time ($2700) and I tack on another $600 for the BestBuy warranty because i was nervous. Well, fast forward 10 months later, while I was watching tv, a line suddenly appeared across the lower part of the screen. Needless to say, the warranty kicked in and It was replaced at no cost but i opt out for another brand. My advice, don’t buy this tv if you can’t afford the warranty. In fact, if you’re spending over $2k on any tv, do yourself a favor, spend the extra cash to get a warranty on the tv.
