This is amazing camera you’re getting from somebody that really loves to take pictures. I love the quality one of the best.

Probably the best budget option camera for everyone to consider. Probably not in everyone's budget, but it's amazing choice for amateurs.

Honestly, A really good choice if you’re looking for a budget hybrid setup it’s video capabilities are flawless, and for an APS-C sensor the low light performance and image quality is pretty astounding.

Magnificent Sony APS-C Camera ...Takes Great Photos

Extremely happy with my purchase, owned a canon r7 before and this is definitely one of the best apsc cameras I have ever used, highly recommend!

This is a no brainier. If you want an amazing entry level camera look no further. Do not get any other crop sensor camera.

Just used for a wedding last week, its so light and simple to use. Love it!

I own the a6100 wanted a upgrade and it did not disappoint great camera the new screen makes it easier to shoot.

A perfect camera if you’re a hobbyist photographer or videographer. You don’t need a fullframe unless you’re a professional.

The Sony A6700 is an incredible camera, especially considering how much performance Sony packed into such a small APS-C body. I used mine extensively for both photography and video, particularly sports, and it consistently produced results that made it feel like a much more expensive camera. The autofocus is one of its biggest strengths. Subject detection and tracking are extremely good, and for fast-moving sports, I was impressed by how well it could find a subject and stay locked on. Combined with up to 11 fps continuous shooting, it's a very capable sports photography camera. Image quality from the 26MP APS-C sensor is excellent. Photos are sharp, detailed, and provide enough resolution for cropping when you need a little extra reach. One of the advantages of APS-C for sports and wildlife is that additional reach—you can put a telephoto lens on the A6700 and get a very useful field of view without carrying an enormous setup. Where the A6700 really impressed me, though, was video. The video quality is outstanding for a camera this size. You get 10-bit 4:2:2 recording, S-Log3, excellent autofocus, 4K60, and even 4K120 for slow motion. It's an extremely capable little filmmaking camera. Sony's stabilization also makes handheld shooting much easier, and Active stabilization can be very useful when you're moving around and don't want to bring out a gimbal. There are a few compromises. Heat can become an issue during demanding video recording, particularly when recording high-resolution/high-frame-rate footage for extended periods. The smaller body is great for portability, but there simply isn't as much room to dissipate heat as there is in a larger camera. I also eventually wanted the advantages of a full-frame camera, particularly for challenging indoor and low-light environments. But that doesn't take anything away from how capable the A6700 is. In good lighting, the image quality this camera can produce is phenomenal. Another major advantage is the size. Pair the A6700 with a compact APS-C lens and you have a seriously powerful photo/video setup that you can carry all day. Or pair it with quality Sony glass and you have a surprisingly capable sports setup. The A6700 is one of those cameras that proves you don't need a huge body or an enormous budget to produce professional-looking content. It's fast, sharp, intelligent, portable, and extremely capable for both photography and video. Whether you're shooting sports, YouTube content, events, travel, interviews, or general photography, it's an easy camera to recommend. I absolutely enjoyed using mine. Even after moving to a full-frame system, I still have a lot of respect for what Sony managed to put into the A6700.

The Sony a6700 is a standout APS-C mirrorless camera, blending professional-level features with a portable design. Its 26MP sensor, paired with the BIONZ XR processor, delivers excellent image quality, dynamic range, and low-light performance. The advanced autofocus system, with 759 phase-detection points and AI-driven real-time tracking, ensures precise focus for both photos and videos. Videographers will appreciate its 4K 120fps recording, 10-bit 4:2:2 internal output, and features like S-Cinetone and focus breathing compensation. The vari-angle touchscreen and robust connectivity enhance usability, though the single SD card slot and compact grip may limit professional use. For hybrid shooters, the a6700 offers exceptional performance in a portable, affordable package.

I've been using this Canon camera for a little while now, and I'm genuinely impressed with its overall performance. The image quality is sharp, the colors look natural, and the autofocus is fast and reliable, even when photographing moving subjects. The camera is easy to set up and the menu system is straightforward, so I was able to start shooting almost immediately. It also feels comfortable to hold, even during longer shooting sessions. Battery life has been better than I expected, and the controls are intuitive enough that I didn't have to constantly look up how to use different features. I've used it for family photos, travel, and some outdoor photography, and it has performed consistently well in different lighting conditions. The photos come out detailed with excellent color reproduction, and the video quality is also very impressive. Overall, I think Canon did a great job balancing image quality, ease of use, and reliability. If you're looking for a dependable camera that delivers excellent results without being overly complicated, I would definitely recommend this one!!!!!

Upon opening the box I saw the manual, camera was very dusty and all the other stuff that came with it looked used. Nothing was wrapped or looked new. I went to best buy to return and exchange for a camera that was not open box and the associates said I had to ship it back. I will be returning and purchase the a6700 from B&H instead.

Camera came out of box with a completely dead battery. After a day of charging using different chargers and cables, the camera still is showing a ‘battery exhausted’ error. Either the camera and or the battery seems defective

Upgraded to the a6700 from my older Sony body, and I’m blown away. The autofocus is insanely fast — it locks onto eyes (human or animal) instantly, even in low light, and tracks them perfectly. The new AI-based subject recognition is a huge step forward for both photo and video work. Image quality is top-notch with amazing dynamic range, and the colors straight out of camera look fantastic. The ergonomics are improved from previous models — it feels great in the hand, and the articulating screen is perfect for vlogging or tricky angles. Paired with my Tamron 17-70 f/2.8, it’s a killer setup for travel, events, and content creation. The 4K 120fps video and advanced stabilization give my footage a smooth, professional feel, all in a package small enough to carry all day. If you want one camera that can truly do it all, the a6700 delivers.

Autofocus is sharp, video quality is top notch and overall performs well. Heats up quickly when plugged in USB for webcam, gonna try to change some settings.

I'm coming from an old SLT A77ii and I hadn't really used it in a number of years. The A6700 is a powerhouse of a camera in terms of features: Weather sealed, IBIS, up to 4k120 video, AI focus and subject recognition, support for picture profiles, etc. etc., and a great number of lenses to choose from (Sony, Sigma, Tamron, Viltrox, etc). I purchased for an upcoming African safari trip and I've had some time to re-acquaint myself with photography. Currently have the Viltrox 27mm f1.2 lens and the Sigma 17-35mm f1.8 lens and photos come out great with both. Will be rending a 70-350mm Sony G lens for the trip. I was tempted by fujifilm cameras as well b/c of the film simulations, but you can kind of emulate that on Sony cameras as well if you want. Anyway, happy with the camera so far - no issues or bugs. Best APSC camera Sony makes.
