Answered by SonyListensHi Kebe, It is about 2 and a half stop when handheld. It works in conjunction with each other. The camera will control the Roll, X&Y, and the lens will control the Pitch&Yaw. If you turn off IS on the lens then the body will control all 5. Best regards, Zander
