Not what I thought it would be being a sony it's not very loud. Puts off an electric smell I returned one all ready. Cannot preset the days of the week like the ones I had from the 90s. Buttons are small and hard to find in the morning.

It didn’t work . I couldn’t even get to listen how was the sound.

Bought this because it's Sony. I figured it would be better than something from Amazon. Was I wrong. The build quality is exceptional but that's about it. Very hard to set up and it does not tune into the radio stations. None whatsoever, no matter how hard I tried. I returned it right away. Pass. Sorry, Sony.

unable to get local stations. no antenna ! buttons too small and printed labels too difficult to read. FM stations only, no AM ! poor quality which was surprising as I expected more from SONY.

I'm normally a fan of Sony products. This however is a huge exception. If you want an alarm clock that sometimes doesn't alarm and causes you to be late to work. This is the clock for you. If you want clock radio that doesn't actually receive any radio stations, this is the clock radio for you. Honestly if you just want a clock, and don't want it for the alarm function or the radio function then this clock is great. Otherwise find something else.

I think this unit must have been opened and returned. It was missing a piece that holds a backup battery---also stated to be included but missing. The clock setting was broken as well. One aligns the setting mechanism on a field like hour, and click a button to advanced or decrease the displayed value. This worked fine for hours, but (with the same button) the minutes were changeable only between 1 and 31. Trying to advance beyond 31 caused a reset back to 1. I like the form factor but even beyond the broken functionality the interface with setting through the buttons was more complex than I want with a radio alarm device. I don't want to have to keep a user manual next to the device, the operations should be intuitive. BB took it back without any trouble though, and seemed to make a note of my report on the defects.

As an alarm, sure it's fine As a clock radio, pure garbage! Can't get radio reception unless I keep my hands on it, once I move my hands away, thinking tuned, its out of tune!

Form factor of the clock was nice but did not keep time. It would always run 2 minutes ahead of all other clocks, within a month it it was about 10 minutes ahead.

Terrible Radio reception on both AM and FM. Only picks up a few stations, and I had to really fiddle with the tuner to make that happen. Too bad, because otherwise it's a nice solid unit. Picked it up today, returning for a refund.

I expected more from Sony. This is a small cube shaped clock radio so if space is your concern this might be good for you. Unfortunately, the sound is poor and, it has a dial type tuner so it is very difficult to tune in radio stations. Even strong stations can be a challenge. I’m returning this product.

This clock emits a loud electrical hum sound when plugged in. I thought the radio was on and between stations at first. I tried it in a few outlets but there is no way I could sleep near this clock. Family members could hear it from other rooms. It was plugged in for less than ten minutes before going back into the box for a return.

This was a Christmas present. Battery and battery attachment were missing. Help?

tuning is by revolving a wheel - very small and you can't tell what channel you're on. Best Buy radio is cheaper and better tuning though it broke (no volume) after a year.

This alarm was hard to set with settings on opposite side of display. The display of numerals is small and dimly lit making it hard to focus on at night. Another concern was the clock seemed to be overly warm for such a small draw of electricity.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Does not have digital tuning, and the manual tuning indicator is so small you cannot read it without a magnifying glass. Audio quality is poor. Sony should be ashamed of themselves.

Returned. Did did work where I wanted to do it. Did not come with batteries

Received radio. Lithium battery not in box nor was battery holder. Calling Best Buy a study in frustration. Unable to get a live person. Gave up. Will use without the battery back up.

I returned this item because neither I nor a friend could follow the directions and set the time. I decided that even if I took it to the and it was set for me, I couldn’t use the other features.

Extremely poor quality, especially for the price. You can barely hear the alarm go even on full volume. I would definitely give 0 stars if there was an option
