Pro: Audio Quality: BASE and Treble pretty decent with MID or Large size rubber earbud snap-ons. Base is not great when used with the smallest size plug. Its worth the price you pay for on the go headset. Works with iphone with lightning adapter ( not included). Con: picks up wind noise on audio calls , so other user can not hear well. DOES NOT have Vol. Control on the H/P earbud, need to use it on the iphone - small inconvenience.

Excellent Sound for Listening to Music and Books!! Problem with the Connection Wires Coming Apart from Covering?! May Consider Electrical Tape to Secure?! MOST DEFINITELY GET SERVICE PLAN!!

I am more or less happy with the sound quality of this product, so far. I am pretty much babying this headset compared to previous purchases of headsets, because I am not moving around or traveling as much.

I bought these headphones to use for meditation purposes only. I don't use them for communication on the phone. The quality is very poor and people could hardly hear you. I would recommend these earphones for listening purposes only. Anything other than that....cheap...cheap...cheap.

Needed something cheap for both the kiddo and I. Pairs up well with the insignia splitter I had purchased as well!!!

Inexpensive, comfortable, sound is great for podcasts and speaking but could use a bit more low end and a more full sound for music. But they are very lightweight and have been fine so far.

I bought two of this ones while we wait to arrive our good ones that we forgot in a friend's house in another state (friend is planning to visit not than soon). One for my wife and another for me. It has a very good price, that's why i purchased these. But it is a matter of luck. My wife headphones works well. It has a decent sound and if you are not planning to use it close to its max level of volume, it is a good nor 3expensive alternative. But mine is another history. After a few weeks, mine was like in my right headphone I was in a concert, frontline. The left one felt like if somebody was wispering something to me.

While the audio quality and cable length are adequate, the unintuitive remote controls, and lack of ear tip sizes lets these headphones down. I can't recommend them, especially if you have larger or smaller ear canals than the average person.

The earbuds were on sale and pretty much the only earbuds at time of purchase. The sound is good and ear piece is comfortable. The only dislike is the cord. It is really thin and cheap. It tangles and remains crumbled. This is the reason for a low score and I would not purchase these again for this cord reason

These headphones are a great backup pair. The sound is surprisingly full but there are some downsides. There is no shielding so the cords do cause a lot of noise in the ear while in use. If you are buying for use in an active environment or while exercising look elsewhere. If using while sitting these will work well. For my ear the provided cups form a good seal and do block out a lot of outside noise. Also they do not feel loose or poor quality.

These earbuds are a hit or miss! First two times I bought them they were perfect for sound qua. for music.I ruined the first two that is why I bought more. Other 3 times, the sound quality was average 7.5/10 for music! So, if you found the sound quality bad return it and but it again. Very comfortable!

These are adequate in sound quality and build. They get the job done. Nothing fancy or special.

The sound on the earbuds are great. But the biggest flaw they have is that they do not have volume control. If Sony is going to go through the trouble to have a mic with a pause button, why not go all the way and include volume controls as well. If it wasn't for this irritating blip, I would have rated them a 5.

I am not disappointed in these earbuds.. but I can't give it a higher rating as that is its level of quality sound. They are OK AND CHEAP. I would have loved to get some top of the line earbuds/mic but can't afford it. Another good thing about these earbuds is that if I lose them, it is cheap to buy another pair. Also not helping the rating is that Best Buy is greatly understaffed lately... hope things improve for Best Buy, as I like having you close

While they sound good, and LOOK JUST LIKE the last pair of Sony earbuds I bought, imagine my HUGE surprise to find out that the small in-line control ONLY stops and starts music, video, whatever.. These phones DO NOT have a volume control on them. What the heck is up with that?

I already have a good number of bluetooth headphones and in-ear headsets with excellent audio qualities for listening to music or watching movies. I got this wired Sony MDREX14AP Earbud Headphones to use as backups during back-2-back zoom meetings as sometimes I forget to charge the bluetooth headsets. While these earbuds are cheap and they're quite comfortable to wear, they lack too much bass and I don't feel myself immersed in the sound while playing music and movies.

These earbuds are a nice style and have decent sound quality and durability! Sony is usually reliable in producing something with good quality, though for the price it's expected that these wouldn't be exceptional.

great fit sound is a little low, bass is okay, cable is really thin cheap, only has a pause and play button missing a volume control but for under $10 bucks can't complain to much.

I've used this product in the past and always purchase a warranty on it. These are fine for a cheap pair earbuds, but they break or malfunction frequently with daily use and travel. Sometimes these earbuds will last for close to a year, but in my experience using them daily, they will not last longer than that before the sound goes out on one of the earbuds. I've had pairs of these earbuds last as briefly as 2 months before a replacement was needed. Sound quality is fine, again, until the sound inevitably dies on one of the buds. I recommend this product with the caveat that you also purchase a warranty on it. If you use your earbuds daily and travel with them, expect to replace them in a year or less.
