Q: Do these have a microphone so that you can use with a phone or are they only for listening?
A: Hi Confused, Yes it does. Kindly refer to this link for more information: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/4596/45966891M.pdf ~Ralph
A: Depends on how well you treat them. If you're the type that just crunches up the cord and shoves them in your pocket or tightly wraps the cord up with out un-twisting it, they'll last you a few months max. But if you're careful and untwist the cord and then loosely wrap the cord up into a loop before placing your earbuds into your pocket they'll last several years or longer. Before these EX14's (BTW they're junk compared to the older EX15's) my older EX15's lasted 4 years before they finally died. The rubber actually dry rotted and started to get stiff. Before that my JBL J33a lasted me 5 years before I just got tired of them, they still worked but I just got tired of em. Be careful with your earbuds and they'll last for years.
Q: Will these earbuds work with a HP laptop?
A: Yes, its compatible with any laptop with a plug for it.
A: Honestly you really want headphones with a larger driver for clarity when looking at how the bass drum will sound. Over the ear headphones are always going to give you a better sound when it comes to stuff like kick drums. That being said, these are great for the price. Bass is warm and natural.
A: These have a 3' cord. These will work fine if your cell phone has a radio that requires the headphone/earbuds to be plugged in, to act like the antenna!
Q: How can I go back to the previous song I was listening to
A: Hi, Damikid39! You can triple press the multi-function button to go back to the previous track/song and press the multi-function button twice to skip to the next track. -Sam
Q: Will these fit a samsung galaxy s8 plus?
A: Yes, these headphones are compatible with the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus.

Like my title says, they do sound pretty decent. They are very light weight and pretty comfortable, I have even fell asleep while watching a YouTube video before bed on my Samsung Galaxy note 5 using these earphones and i noticed no discomfort at all. When it comes to sound they sound very bright and what I mean by that is that the higher frequencies overkill the low frequencies by about 50% the bass response which is the lower end frequencies can be heard ok but it's not as loud as I would like it to be, when it comes to Bass on a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 7 as it is much to be desired, you can hear it but not as loud as the higher frequencies. Now when it comes to the cord on the earphones, it is honestly very flimsy and feels like if I accidentally yank it a little too hard, the cable can tare off from the earphone making them useless. When it comes to phone calls, some people.can hear me pretty clear and some hear my voice muffled. I can answer and end calls with it but the volume control doesn't work but it's not a big deal for me. I can compare these easily to the earphones you get with most Android smartphones like my samsung note 2 and 3. My note 5 didnt come with any so I also had a pair of klipsch XR8i Hybrid earphones which I really liked due to their awesome bass response and clarity but unfortunately I cannot recommend them because they are extremely expensive and though they sound good, they were replaced 3 times by the 1 year warranty because 1 tweeter driver on the left side and 1 woofer driver on the right side kept breaking inside the earphones which was weird. Once the 1 year warranty was over, the last replacement pair broke in 2 months of use for the same exact reason and I only used them at night watching Netflix, YouTube and some Anime off of Funimation and Crunchyroll at low to medium volume, so that is why I bought these cheaper Sony earphones to replace the expensive ones. Now for the price of these Sony earphones under twenty dollars, they do the job well and serve my purpose of bedtime YouTube video watching till I fall asleep. Would I recommend them? Yes because they get the job done and they are very affordable and very comfortable too so if these break, I can simply order another pair with no problem of breaking the bank vs the klipsch earphones that costed me almost $300.00 dollars. They sounded excellent while they worked but not worth it. BestBuy is no longer selling the XR8i's either because of faulty parts in the driver's. Anyways do not expect these to have a good amount of bass because they don't really have it however they do sound decent and get the job done. In the picture below you will see my new cheap Sony earphones in the right vs my Expensive paper weight edition klipsch earphones on the left.

Great sound for such a low price. I wasn't impressed right away but they grew on me, the bass is respectable and they're comfortable. If you looking for a inexpensive wired solution I sincerely recommend

These pair of headphones are great, they get the job done. If you're in a pinch and need a pair and you have an old iPad or whatever these are perfect. They're not that fragile unlike Skull candys after a few months, I've had them for long enough, the sound profile is great, unlike apple ear buds that are hard and can get painful for too long for me because you just have hard plastic in your ears, these have different sized ear tips to fit in ear and it's miles better. They're great for plane rides, especially if you're prone to your ears popping on the flight to and from your destination. The only thing is, the labels between left and right needs to be a bit bigger, sometimes it's a bit hard to read and I don't think most people care, but this is designed to make sure you don't wear out the wires to the earphones. Otherwise, the sound is great, the fit is very comfy, all for cheap earbuds.
