Your Review: Stop looking at the third-party "equivalents." They aren't equivalent. I’ve used the cheap knock-offs; they'll show 20% remaining one second and go completely dead the next, or worse, they'll swell and get stuck in your battery compartment. The Sony NP-FZ100 is the industry standard for a reason. Here is why it’s the only option that makes sense: Reliability: The power discharge is linear. When the camera says you have 5% left, you actually have 5% left. No sudden shutdowns in the middle of a shot. Stamina: In real-world use on an A7IV or A7R V, I’m getting well over 600 shots. If you’re shooting video, the heat management is significantly better than the "Wasabi" or "Neewer" alternatives.

I have a Sony @C7ii camera, having extra batteries is not enough and especially when they are OEM. Always buy OEM products. Not saying that third parties don't work but they can be faulty (just be careful but they do work) and that will definitely damage you camera that you invested. If you have much the extra money to buy OEM then don't think it twice go ahead and buy it.

OEM battery from Sony, and it’s absolutely worth every penny. Everyone says this Sony Z battery is expensive, but when you need it, it’s priceless. Sony batteries have never let me down. If you rely on your Sony camera for an income, don’t compromise, buy the Sony battery. These Z batteries seem to last forever, they’re awesome! I use this Z as the 2nd battery in my grip alongside the original battery that came with my A7iii.

I use this for my FX30 and there's not much else to say besides it does what I expected it to do. Rarely did I need to use a secondary battery, but when I did, I was glad to have another one on hand. I love the rechargeability and overall battery life.

I'm reluctant to be one of those kind of folk constantly wearing earbuds. There are just some times when it is the only way to communicate effectively when working online. On occasion, I even use them while jogging and they fit securely. I’m glad that I am one of those people—sometimes, just…sometimes.

For all the Sony users, this battery is the STANDARD. Im sure there different types of batteries that could work but this battery with out a doubt is ol' reliable, and like all Lithium-ion batteries please make sure not to charge to 100% for optimal battery life span!

This OEM Battery from Sony works as advertised. Just one of these babies and you can shoot all day with your camera unless you are getting footage. Then a couple of these usually does the trick!

The battery price is little extra than other brands but worth it and arrived on time. Works great with Sony a7iv and last long as same as an original battery.

Always needing extra batteries. Why not go with the best! Hold a charge forever. Really good when traveling and need that extra long life. Shot all day in Bali on 1 battery.

Coming from the A7II, I was extremely happy to find out the A7III used a new upgraded battery. So buying this OEM battery as a second has been extremely satisfying. The battery lasts a long time and a massive improvement over the previous versions. You'll be set for all day.

A must have if you’re using a Sony camera. Much better than the 3rd party battery!

I bought this as a second battery for Sony mirrorless camera. I shoot all day and view pictures and would still have enough juice in it until I get back home to charge it.

I bought this battery as a backup because I only shoot events occasionally, so I didn’t notice the problem until after the return window had already passed. I use both a Full-Frame and an APS-C camera. The first time I used the battery, it lasted around 17–20 minutes and seemed okay. But during a graduation shoot, my camera suddenly powered off while I was taking photos, and I couldn’t turn it back on. I honestly thought my camera had broken even though I hadn’t been shooting very long. I switched to my APS-C camera to continue the job. Later, when that battery ran low, I inserted this backup battery. It powered on at first, but after a short time the camera shut off again, just like with my Full-Frame camera. Unfortunately, this battery has not been reliable for me. Since I don’t use it very often, I only discovered the issue after the return date had already passed, so there was nothing I could really do at that point. Would you recommend this product? I would still recommend Sony products overall because I’ve used Sony gear for a long time, and this is the first battery issue I’ve personally experienced. I don’t want to say “No” based on a single bad battery since no manufacturer is perfect. That said, I would strongly recommend testing the battery immediately after purchase. If there’s any issue, it’s much easier to follow up, exchange, or return it within the return period.

Only the Sony brand battery will keep you camera running the longest. Mirrorless cameras consume a lot of power only the best for your investment.
