    Don't Cheap Out on Your Power Source

    Your Review: Stop looking at the third-party "equivalents." They aren't equivalent. I’ve used the cheap knock-offs; they'll show 20% remaining one second and go completely dead the next, or worse, they'll swell and get stuck in your battery compartment. The Sony NP-FZ100 is the industry standard for a reason. Here is why it’s the only option that makes sense: Reliability: The power discharge is linear. When the camera says you have 5% left, you actually have 5% left. No sudden shutdowns in the middle of a shot. Stamina: In real-world use on an A7IV or A7R V, I’m getting well over 600 shots. If you’re shooting video, the heat management is significantly better than the "Wasabi" or "Neewer" alternatives.

    Quality over Quantity

    I have a Sony @C7ii camera, having extra batteries is not enough and especially when they are OEM. Always buy OEM products. Not saying that third parties don't work but they can be faulty (just be careful but they do work) and that will definitely damage you camera that you invested. If you have much the extra money to buy OEM then don't think it twice go ahead and buy it.

    Does everything it needs to, but at a steep price

    You’re getting great quality with this (obviously since it’s a first party product). I don’t have an extensive knowledge of charging speeds so I cannot make a specific comment regarding that, but I feel it is reasonable comparative to the amount of time a charge lasts. I have two batteries that I swap between when working, and the two added together last most of the work day. The price is my biggest complaint, as $88 feels very steep considering it is almost an 18th of what you paid for the entire camera. I don’t know if it truly costs this much to produce, but I have no quality issues yet after several days of consistent use so I can’t complain so far.

    The only Sony battery

    These are definitely the best batteries to buy if you capture media on Song products. I’ve been a photographer for almost 15 years and once I started using these batteries I never stopped. My cameras battery stays on during my hikes, they never give my camera technical problems and they charge at a fast speed depending on the charger.
