It's a pretty good mic. I use it for online meetings and classes. I didn't have to use an adapter for it to work with my Dell PC. It didn't work with my Mac and phone. I had to use a 3.5 mm adapter which splits into a mic and headphone.

Used with my Google Pixel XL but needed a breakout cable attached to the headphone jack first. You need a 4-contact headphone/microphone splitter cable to plug in to your phone first, then plug this in to the dedicated microphone jack on the splitter cable. This is probably the case with most phones. Otherwise your phone just thinks you plugged headphones in and you won't hear any sound on your videos at all. Don't forget to unplug the splitter cable from the phone to listen to the recorded video (unless you plug in dedicated headphones to the headphone side of the splitter cable.) See attached image. ALSO be aware that your default camera recording app may not record sound from external devices. My Pixel didn't; I had to use the "Open Camera" app.

I bought this to go with my Olympus voice recorder and it's been a great combo. I needed a mic that could pick up people talking very softly or whispering during a Past Life Regression session. This mic is perfect! I also tried to see if it would work on my iPhone --- it didn't, but I'm confident that I can find an adapter plug.

I use this Mic specifically with my GoPro Hero4. Sound quality is great on this product. When you have it at a specific distance. Too close. You'll hear your mouth breathing. Too far you can't hear. The packaging seemed really cheap which normally feels like the product is cheap. In this case. I was wrong. However; this is my big complain, the mic doesn't come with any wind resistors. So if there's wind, you WILL hear it and loud. So wether it's your mouth or nature, you won't be happy. Best Buy didn't have any plushy wind resistors as far as I can see and per employees. So I highly recommend buying the plushies from Amazon or EBay before you buy the mic so that you are ready to go once you get it out the package. That's my only complain. Aside from no plushies, the quality is great for GoPros. Check out my videos on YouTube. Search 4erazmo and click away. All videos used the mic. But I recommend watching the motorcycle ones. To truly get the best example. Hopes this helps.

I had to do recording into a PowerPoint project for a Social Media class I just took. I bought one of these microphones to use with Sony Digital Voice Recorder I bought at the same time. This microphone allowed me to work hands free with the papers I had to read my notes from to go into my PowerPoint Presentation. This really made things a lot easier. The sound recorded using this microphone was clear. The only issue I had was that I clipped the microphone onto my tee shirt and when I swallowed the mic moved causing some sound because it was so close to my throat. So, just make sure you have it hooked lower so your swallowing does not cause this effect.

I was skeptical before purchasing this microphone. I did the research and decided to make the purchase. I am very very glad that I did. This has been a great lapel microphone especially for the price point. The audio is clear and crisp. I can hear everything quite well. I would recommended this to anyone doing school projects, interviews, or even for youtube videos. You wont be disappointed with this.

Inexpensive and delivers high value. It's small and unobtrusive, and I like how much it has clarified and amplified my voice compared to my laptop microphone. I now talk to people over video chat (with the mic 2 feet away), with a fan on sometimes, and still sound crystal clear! I didn't need to install anything either, it worked perfectly after plugging into my laptop's mic jack.

This microphone has improved the quality of sound in my recordings. The echo is gone. The size is small and unobtrusive. The stereo aspect is not vital to me but I have found the mic pics up nicely. It has a plug and play set up and is quick and easy. The cord is about 1 meter long and it would be nice to have it longer but this would be sufficient on a laptop or other device.
great mic, good sound, fair price, easy to use. would happily recommend!

I got this for gaming. I do not like headsets. This is the first analog microphone I have used that I do not need to constantly adjust to make it work. No feedback, no noise, very clear stereo sound. Its only drawback is the short cable. If the computer is too far an extension is needed.

Bought two of these for my sons to record video game play. The sound is great and they are super easy to use. Only issue I have is length of cord.

Excellent quality microphone - has withstood some rough handling - several drops. It Continues to work flawlessly. The plug-in (3.5cm)cord is a little bit short when extended through a shirt or jacket, then plugged into the PC. When used outside on a windy day you would need to block it from the wind. Not sure if a small wind muffler is available or not. I guess you would need 2 since there is a microphone pick up on each side (Left/Right).

The good: the mic is easy to use. I paired this with my sony micro-recorder and it works flawlessly. The sound isn't perfect, but it's good enough for lecturing. I wouldn't recommend this for music. The other thing to realize is this is not metal but plastic. I don't think that's a major negative, but it does feel a little cheap. It hasn't broken on me, but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't last for more than a few years. Good price. Good purchase.

I bought this mic to use with my Sony Voice Recorder and I wasn't expecting it to perform so well. My voice is perfectly clear and and there is more bass to my voice using this mic over using the built-in mic. It has a nice long cord and of course a clip to attach to your shirt. Overall, I am very happy with the sounds quality.

It works like it should. I plugged it into my device, talk and its recorded. It would be nice if there was a wind cover for it. Note this is a stereo mic and my device only records mono so only one side works.

This product works great. I am able to use it for dictation and it picks up even a whisper sound and accurately dictates even with the ac unit or fan noise in background. I do not give it a 5 star because I was told by the salesman and the box that it would work with my laptop that I purchased at the same time. I was told it works for windows 10. Which it does BUT only if I also purchase a n adapter. Because condenser microphones have active electronics that need an external power source. It does not say this on the box AND the supremely confident salesperson who swore it would work. Didn't tell me. Would have saved me hours of frustration and 2 days of lost work if I had known what the problem was!!! (And I was forced to figure it out because when i went to return it, they gave me a hard time because I had opened the package. Very frustrating after waiting 25 minutes in cust. service line!)

I needed a mic for home recording because of a Covid-19 studio shutdown. This small mic is amazing. I have a deep voice but there's no pegging of the audio. It records in stereo which many others don't and will work with any computer. Due to this mic being so strong you may have to use the noise reduction option on your recorder depending on the acoustics of the room you're using. Other than that it's stellar!

Bought this as I needed a small microphone for capturing my voice while shooting video for YouTube. This is an excellent stereo microphone. I just plug it into my Note 9 and begin recording using an app. But be aware that it is sensitive and will pick up any room ambience. But it is far better than the built in mic on my Note 9.

I bought this microphone to use with a newly built PC for web conference calls and Skype use. Works great at picking up my voice, even in a noisy environment, and very easy to setup. Also, works well with using Google Chrome voice search and with handheld, portable audio recorder.
