The IR kit is what is needed to connect the TV to components, such as, the cable box, DVD player, etc. Cables/connections will not visible. Up to five components could be connected with this one device. My salesperson, Bryan Sanchez, (at Westbury) is outstanding. He is professional, knowledgeable and most helpful. He listens to the customer and is eager to fulfill the customer's requested setup with excellent components. Bryan is definitely an asset to the department (TVs, etc.) and store. I took time to share my compliments with the assistant store manager, JB. I bought the 4K smart TV, components, etc thanks to Bryan's guidance.

We worked out what got plugged in where and then it was quite easy to attach to our tv. We will be adding a dvd shortly and that is just a matter of plugging it in to the equipment. Not too difficult for a non tech person.

Does what is advertised. No messy wires in sight. Would recommend to others.

this works great if you want to have all of your components hidden in a closet, and want no wires showing this is the way to go.

With having purchased a beautiful unit in which to house my TV and other components, I found I could not use my comcast remote unless I had the door open. After speaking to one of your tech's about the problem he found what I needed and I purchased said product. only took one small drill hole! Thank you for educating and hiring knowageable employees .

I have all my electronics like cable boxes, blu ray, etc in a closet, the only thing you can see is the TV and soundbar. this product works excellent. well worth the cash if you want a sleek look and it will work all over the house if you extend the wires.
