The manufacturer (Samsung) should include this item in their washers & dryers!! When ordering the matching washer & dryer, we assumed that it was included because nowhere on the Best Buy website did it list it as an optional item for the appliance. Luckily, after reviewing and searching the website ad nauseum to confirm, we spoke with an extremely knowledgeable customer service rep who provided us with the Item # to add to the order. But for the info obtained from the rep, installation would NOT have gone smoothly and it would have required the installers to return a 2nd time to install the stacking kit and the dryer on top of the washer When appliances can be stacked, there needs to be information about stacking kits otherwise installation will be messed up if the stacking kit part is not included in the delivery. Gave it 2 stars because of the issues with the website and lack of reference to a stacking kit. The item itself is good quality.

The stacking kit for my Samsung Washer and Dryer connects only in the back, so it causes the dryer to sit further back than the washer. It just makes it not even on top of each other.

This kit doesnt work for my home setup as it places the dryer too far behind the washer and we just dont like the view of it. Also separation in height between washes and dryer is about 2"-3" so no good for us...
