To prepare for installation, make sure someone 18 or older is present at the appointment time.
We'll unplug the unit from the electrical outlet and disconnect it from the water line and drain pipe. Existing, dedicated, functional, non-corroded, code-compliant shutoff valves are required.
We'll attach the new washer to the water line. Then, we'll connect the drain hose to an existing, accessible, non-corroded drain pipe or place it in a laundry tub within reach.
At your request, we can reverse the door swing, install the washer to a new or existing compatible laundry pedestal of the same brand (sold separately), or stack a compatible dryer of the same brand with a new or compatible laundry stacking kit (sold separately).
We'll level and test the appliance for functionality, clean up our workspace, answer any questions you may have, and let you know how to contact us for future support.
When you buy a qualifying washing machine from Best Buy, we’ll haul away and recycle or relocate your old one for you. (Not included)
This service does not include the use of a ladder, removal of ceiling tiles, or entry into a crawl space to access the shutoff valves. If a drain pan is required by code, it must be placed and installed before our professionals arrive.
This service does not include permits, modification of cabinetry, flooring or walls, or removal of door frames, molding, railings, wall hangings or other affixed obstacles in the pathway. The connection of internet-capable appliances to a home network is also not included.
Additional charges may apply for permits required by your municipality, cabinet or counter modifications, and utilities like valves or outlets that are nonfunctional or not up to code. Relocation does not include reconnection.
