When we tried to set up our multi-monitor display (2 computer monitors and the laptop) we were struggling as the USB from VGA wasn’t working. This DisplayPort to VGA did the trick! Now it’s like three screens all in one. Must order online, not carried in store.

If you want an extra display in your video card doesn't have available display ports this turns AUS B port into a display port I would recommend using a USB 3.0 port but will work with 2.0

I got this to use a old monitor I found that still works but only had DVI and VGA, while my new desktop only came with DP ports.

Every time we get a new employee I have to setup new adapters for dual monitors, and StarTech is my go-to for adapters. After trying "cheaper" Amazon branded adapters, which sometimes work and sometimes just quit working quickly - I prefer to pay the extra few dollars knowing that the StarTech adapter will work.
