    Great for Multi-monitor setup

    When we tried to set up our multi-monitor display (2 computer monitors and the laptop) we were struggling as the USB from VGA wasn’t working. This DisplayPort to VGA did the trick! Now it’s like three screens all in one. Must order online, not carried in store.

    Add a display

    If you want an extra display in your video card doesn't have available display ports this turns AUS B port into a display port I would recommend using a USB 3.0 port but will work with 2.0

    Adds new life for old monitors that still work.

    I got this to use a old monitor I found that still works but only had DVI and VGA, while my new desktop only came with DP ports.

  • I need to set up dual screens. Right now I have a VGA split cable but all it does is duplicate the original screen. Would the Display port to vga video converter be what I needed in order to achieve the extended screen with a second monitor???

    You need to go into your display settings and change it to extend. On windows you can also press the windows key and the letter p to change dual monitor mode.

  • Do you have to install custom drivers or can you just plug and play?

    All I had to do was plug and play. Using Win10 and monitor.

  • I keep seeing differences in these converters (i.e. VGA to HTMI or HTMI to VGA). My intention is to use a HTMI TV to display my computer's VGA image. Many are presenting these converters as being mutually natural in signal distribution. Are they?
