I needed a docking station for my new Samsung laptop that I purchased from Best Buy. This is perfect and doesn’t take up much desk area. Note: I have a VGA connection for my monitor. It didn’t work initially. I had to download additional drivers via the internet and then my monitor started working. I can now use my laptop monitor and my external monitor as a two monitor setup. I love it!

When I bought my new laptop, I bought this new docking station to upgrade the USB speed and port options. My present monitor, which does not have an HDMI connection, can be accommodated. When I upgrade to a 4K monitor, the HDMI port on the docking station will be waiting for it. In other words, this docking station has everything I need.

I'm sure it would work properly if it came with the software and driver disks. Tried looking online without any luck. Returned it and found another brand that' working great.

Nice product and great features. Thus far I've had limited use but it has functioned perfectly and it was easy to install with download from the web. The one real drawback is that the item and power cord and connecting USB cable come loosely and a small case / bag for it would have really made this a 5 star deal. Light and portable but somewhat too bulky to carry in hand luggage given the very stringent policies by the airlines. Would have been good if Best Buy had stocked this item in Store.

My wife gave me two monitors for Christmas so that I could bring work home instead of staying late at the office. This was the only docking station that I was able to find which would allow me to connect two external monitors to my Lenovo laptop. I'm still working out how to get both screens to work with a remote session but I think that's an issue with the remote connection and Windows, not with the docking station.

This small inexpensive docking station reliably allows you to dock your laptop. I have ordered 10 of these and had an issue with only one. StarTech was very responsive and sent out a new unit as soon as I sent them the tracking number of the unit I was sending back. Other than that I have used them without issues. I would highly recommend.

I wanted to get a dual screen set up for my home office and needed to get docking station to pull it all together. This is small and gets the job done.

This dock has all the ports you could ask for, but with a much smaller footprint. Even better is that it can be used to dock a tablet and it works wonderfully for that purpose.

Always had good results with StarTech products and this is no exception. Using with two 24" 1080p monitors with 15.6" 1080p laptop to get three high resolution screens going. Also like that it has built-in network and sound. Great docking station solution for one USB 3.0 port!

Happy with product, occasionally one of monitors blinks even though everything's connected bringing it down to four stars.

My new docking station works great! I have a VGA connection for my monitor. Once I installed the software and connected all my peripherals, I needed to download additional drivers by clicking on the Startech software and selecting download updated drivers. Once I did this, my monitor started displaying properly. I am now able to use both my laptop screen and my monitor in a dual monitor setup. I needed more than 3 USB connectors so I purchased a Startech 4 port USB hub which takes very little room but works great.

Easy hookup and use. Sits on the side of my desk out of the way and doesn't take up much space.

This is an awesome product and I would recommend it to anyone that needs a full docking station

Works fine, not super impressed but gets the job done

I like this docking station because it works with Macs and PCs. I have two of them so I can have one at the office. The only downside is the Ethernet port seems slow. If you get this, be sure to keep up to date with the latest drivers.

Compatible with my existing monitors without an additional dongle.

Works great and didn’t take up much room on the desk.

I wanted a dual screen for my home office. This docking station does the job, is compact so it does not take up much space. This is a nice product for the price.

I read reviews before purchasing this item and it fits the bill as described. I purchased to set up with a laptop / second monitor along with a full sized keyboard. Set up was a breeze and no issues with the unit.
