    Lots of fun...in Handheld Mode!

My wife and I are big fans of Sushi Strikers. We've been following the game since its announcement at E3 a few years back. There is both a 3DS and a Nintendo Switch version (we own the Nintendo Switch version) and I have to say that after playing through a few hours of the game, we love it! I will say though that the controls are very tough when using a regular controller. Since the sushi moves fast and you have to be precise which sushi you select and where the next one is, using your finger on the touch screen gives you a much better (and more accurate) style of playing than the frantic scrolling through sushi that you might find yourself doing when using a controller. If you have the 3DS, you might want to try that version since it may be built for having that touch screen, but if you like having it on the Switch (like we do), you'll have to try out whether or not you like controlling it with your Joy-Con/Pro Controller or if you prefer the handheld experience. Oh and the intro song is amazing and very catchy! :D

    Fun, but can drag on

I have been playing through this game and I really like it. I like the game play and it gets easier the more you play it and figure it out. However, the cut scenes can be really long and boring. I also find that the dialog can be a bit lack luster. You do have the option to skip it so that is a relief! Overall the game is super fun to play!

    Fun

Sushi Striker: Way of Sushido is a creative and incredibly fun videogame. It's not a piece of art, although it has a fun, light-hearted and creative plot, but that's okay: this game is not made to be taken seriously. It's not the big single-player epic, but it's a near flawless action-RPG-puzzler videogame, and it fits the switch fantastically. This game, whatsoever, is not for everyone, but for those who enjoy it, it's a masterpiece. Since there hasn't really been any game like this before, I recommend anyone interested to check the free demo in the Nintendo Switch EShop( although personally I think the 3DS version is superior in almost every way besides graphics). A common complaint among people who haven't played the game is the price, but this game is well worth 50 Dollars. I've played the game non-stop(14 hours), and I'm about 20% in the story mode. There is also online play, beautiful graphics and a concept never found in any game before. (It has nothing to do with bad Match-3 mobile games).

    Fun Game

Sushi Striker is one of those hidden gems that on the surface looks/sounds kind of bad but is really an amazing treat once you give it a chance. This is a puzzle game where you match sushi on plates to eat and then you throw the plates at your opponent. The story it pretty good, but the gameplay is even better. Believe me when I say that this game is fun.

Great quirky puzzle game, a bit overpriced

At 50$ I honestly dont know if I could recommend it, but if you still have GCU like I do then at 40$ i'd say its worth it. Its a great fast paced puzzle game with quirky funny dialogue and a ridiculous story. If you like match style puzzle games i'd download the demo off the Switch Eshop and see if its right for you.
