A: Hi Kealii. I think you may have misunderstood this feature. This camera only has the option to record short clips whenever it detects motion, it cannot record continuously 24/7. All of the recordings you see in the playback screen for the last 24hrs are stored in the cloud. In addition the camera has an SD Card included and you can view clips further back which are saved on that card by tapping on the SD Card icon within the Playback screen. - SD, Swann Team.
Q: Can it record to a dvr/nvr to expand storage?
A: Hi Jake. No, it is not possible to connect this to a DVR/NVR, however the included 32GB Micro SD Card will store a very large number of clips before writing over the oldest clips with the latest ones once it is full. You can also replace the card with a larger one (up to 128GB) if you wish to. If you also happen to own a Swann DVR or NVR then you can view it alongside this floodlight camera in the same Swann Security App account. -SD, Swann Team.
A: Thank you for your inquiry, Marlene. The PIR motion sensor works best up to 26ft (8 m). This is the distance it can reliably detect movement. While the spotlight can illuminate up to 100ft (30 m). So, when someone enters the detection zone within 26 ft, the system will trigger the lights and siren, and the spotlight can reach up to 100ft to light the area. Hope this helps. Mary - Swann Team
Q: Is this a dusk to dawn floodlight?
A: Hello. Thank you for your question. The SWIFI-4KFLOCAM detection sensor will automatically keep lights off during the daytime. You can also turn off the floodlights completely from the app under Detection Settings. Hope this helps. LV - Swann Team
Q: Can I have one of these in the front yard and one in the back yard and view with the same IPhone?
A: Yes they have their own individual set up and you can give them their own personal name.
A: You do not need a service, you can use your phone through the Swann app for the private user account. It is free!

Covers all the Bases Security Camera!
This security camera is perfect by our front door. It works outside which is great because it does get weather, sun and some rain. I was looking for a flood light because we get alot of movement at our front door - we get alot of packages. There have been recent thefts also. I feel great and safe with the light as a deterrent. The voice control is also a nice feature. We had to install it, but that was pretty straight forward. Totally recommend this!

Lighting for the bonus
This security camera comes with built in flood lighting & an app that is super easy to install, connect & use. I had some anxiety putting in a wired device but it was so simple..remove the light that was there, twist 2 wires, mount .it was as simple as that. The camera is terrific. I can definitely attest to it being waterproof, we had what felt like a week of rain since installation and it works like a charm. The 4k feature provide super clear film anytime of day..the night vision is nice at night. I wasn't sure what to make of the heat sensing feature but it's terrific in minimizing false alerts...something random blowing thru the filed of vision (like a rain storm) and it won't shot me a motion alert. It a pretty nice feature since I live in a wooded area. added feature of 2 way communication & the available flood light that can't be used as a stand alone thru the app feature which makes the dual purpose lighting a true replacement. for any floodlight on your house. It is managed thru the app which has become a major convenience for me when I am outside and need a little light..no more running into the house

Simple little backyard camera/light
I installed this in my backyard and it works great. I love how strong the lights are. When it's dark, the kids can still play outside because the lights are pretty strong. Camera quality is also great with and without the lights. Installation is a little bit annoying, the fact that it still uses the electrical cables to give it power. Solar powered would be a major plus to this.
