This is the perfect travel companion for any gamer! I have a standard Switch as well, but I take this with me any time I will be away from home, or going on a trip. The battery life never ceases to amaze me, I find that my sessions are rarely cut short because of low-power. If I could go back in time & tell myself that I’d have a hand-held console that can run Doom, Skyrim & Diablo 3 for only $200 my jaw would’ve been on the floor. The Switch Lite is easily one of the best deals in gaming right now, I couldn’t be happier with mine!

I can't believe that I waited so long to get a switch. This is AWESOME. Unlike prior handhelds (DS, Gameboy Advance, etc. . . .) which played stunted, graphically weaker versions of games that bore little resemblance to their console counterparts, this device plays the EXACT same games as its television capable counterpart. I like the lite version in particular because: 1. Cool color (I love this blue) 2. Better battery life 3. integrated controls with a traditional D-Pad (the separate joycons always "off" to me). At some point I am going to go ahead and pick up a set of joycons (and a separate charger since you can't charge them using this device) just so that I can take better advantage of motion controls in some games (looking at you "Arms"). I think it's very cool that I have this option (the advantage of integrated controls with the option for external if I want them). Memory is somewhat paltry at 32GB. I'm going top have to pick up an SD card to supplement the internal storage. "Smite" and "Paladins" appear to take up a little less than 20GB each, so I'm thinking that I don't want to get anything less than 128GB if I'm going to put "Rocket League" and "Fortnite" on this as well. So far, this has been absolutely great. I strongly recommend this console.

The Nintendo Switch Lite is a great handheld system if you want something lightweight, portable, and easy to use on the go. It feels comfortable in your hands, the built-in D-pad is perfect for games like Mario and Pokémon, and most Switch titles run smoothly in handheld mode. The screen is smaller, but it’s sharp and bright enough for everyday play. The main drawback is that it can’t connect to a TV, and some motion-control games require extra controllers. Still, if you prefer solo gaming, travel a lot, or just want a more affordable way to play Nintendo games, the Switch Lite delivers strong value and a fun, smooth gaming experience.

I bought this console primarily for my autistic son since he loves playing on the regular switch we have. Got to the point we'd both game together regularly but some games he wanted to play required full controllers. Such as LEGO games and his train games on the device. Instead of buying a controller I decided to get him this, and he loves it! The switch Lite is as in the name, lite compared to the Nintendo Switch (old) fits better in my son's hands, the screen is smaller but I've noticed that the pixels seem more clean and crisp. My son was upset about the fact that the switch lite doesn't have vibration but personally with his autism its less stimulation. The battery is honestly solid, son and I spent a Saturday morning Grinding LEGO Star Wars the skywalker saga, bough a second copy so he had his own, and I was more surprised that my switch died quicker than his so thats a perk. Overall between my son and I we both love the little console, he likes the fact that it's easier to hold, easier to put in his backpack or in his words, "Not heavy in my pocket" Tempted to get the Zelda themed switch lite for myself, but I want to wait until we get his switch lite repaired. (Son wasn't paying attention to what he was doing and tripped and the console's screen is no longer responsive.)

I bought a Switch Lite mainly because of its compact size and weighs less than my OLED Switch. Great to take with you on trips to keep you entertained. If you plan to download Switch games on this model I highly recommend an SD. The internal memory is 10GB. Other than that I love this Switch.

The Nintendo Switch Lite in Blue is a fantastic portable gaming option with its sleek design and lightweight form factor. Its 32GB storage and vivid 5.5-inch touchscreen display make gaming on the go a breeze. While lacking TV connectivity, the Switch Lite offers compatibility with a vast library of games, ensuring endless entertainment. The battery life supports extended play sessions, and the eye-catching blue color adds a touch of style. Though best suited for solo play, the Nintendo Switch Lite is an excellent choice for gamers seeking a dedicated handheld experience.

This device is so much fun! I was looking for something portable for trips, flights, etc., and this proved to be a great investment. It lasted the whole flight from DC to Colorado, and still had half the battery-life left. I will say, something VERY important to consider, is if you are purely looking for a portable device then the Lite version is great - but for me I ran into instances where I wished I could play certain games on a big screen (TV), so I inevitably traded up the Lite for a normal Switch. It's purely preference; I do believe the Lite is more stable and durable from a "portability" standpoint. The Switch's removable joycons (remotes) do feel slightly loose, whereas the Lite they are built in so you don't have that issue. Because of this I think the Lite version may be more "kid-friendly" due to the durability. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone wanting to purchase a mobile gaming system. Brought back all the old Gameboy feelings from childhood! **PSA - buy an SD card when you get this; 128G is usually fine. The software downloads for games takes up a lot of space.

Now that you can buy titles like Diablo, Need for Speed, and Hades from the Nintendo store this is too good to pass up. Plus, it's finally available in a color that isn't gray or pastel. I really like the color and the device is very snappy and light. You play Youtube and Hulu on it but there is no Netflix. To get a Chrome browser you have to do an elaborate trick. None of that matters though. For $200 bucks you can play some really nice games and it's comfy to hold.

Perfect for a hand handheld only experience, I personally love the color finding it closer to the original GameCube than actually blue. The lack of vibration is a bummer though as well as the lack of any ability to connect it to a TV (even if you get a dock it won’t work) so if you are only wanting a portable only system this is perfect. I would suggest getting a screen protector though and maybe a carrying case.

I could not find a Nintendo Switch Lite ANYWHERE at regular price. I searched well over a month and a half, stopping at Best Buy every day on my way home from work to see if they had any available. Their helpful and kind staff were always happy to search inventory, but were always sad to say that they weren't even able to special order it for me. They did, however, always tell me to check online and as promised I was able to find one on stock in the very early hours of one fateful morning! I love how Best Buy was true to their word in being able to find their Holiday rarest items online, if you really do your best to check constantly. In my opinion, the Switch Lite is truly the pinnacle of this generation's handheld gaming devices. It is just really a beautiful little device that works so amazingly and will have your loved ones having hours upon hours of fun. It is just so amazing how this sleek and light little gaming piece can play such great games as Breath of The Wild, and Super Smash Bros Ultimate all while playing miles away from your home! Best Buy provided me a product in immaculate condition at an amazing price compared to others during this Holiday. They were always true to their word, providing ship to store details that were perfectly on time! and despite worries of a delay I picked up my device on the exact day that was promised to me! Thank you Best Buy!

I bought this to play some of the older Nintendo games on the Nintendo eShop, and I haven't been let down. I really enjoy the family plan that Nintendo offers—$80 a year for up to 8 people is a great deal. The battery life is amazing; my son uses his more than I do because his original Switch has much shorter battery life compared to mine. I would definitely recommend getting a bigger SD card, as one game can quickly fill the 32GB of onboard memory. Personally, I enjoy the retro games more than the newer ones. Works great with my phones hotspot so i am able to always have internet when needed.

I’m a lil crazy cos I already own an OLED Nintendo switch but I wanted a smaller / more portable version of a switch. Even though the screen isn’t nicer than the OLED model, it is definitely worth considering if 1.) you only plan on playing in handheld mode. 2.) if you’re on a budget and just want to play some Nintendo exclusives. I like the indigo color, and it is very lightweight and easy to carry. Even for my large hands, I can game comfortably for an hour without my hands getting too tired. It has a micro sd card slot, the speakers are loud enough, and the touch screen works fantastic. Slap a thin clear case on it and it’ll feel even better in the hands. My only complaint about the switch lite is that Nintendo makes it kind of cumbersome to own multiple consoles. For example.. I can’t play my animal crossing save or Pokémon saves on both switch’s that I own. So when I want to play those games I have to play on my bigger OLED switch. Other than that, I love my switch lite: it comes everywhere with me. I don’t mind if it gets beat up in my backpack.
