The Nintendo Switch – OLED Model - The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition system features a design inspired by the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game, including the familiar Hylian Crest from the Legend of Zelda series on the front of the dock (game not included).
A: The game is NOT included. It says so on the front of the box.
A: ahh a scalper question, the million dollar question. Nintendo will most likely make a ton of these units. They have never been one to make limited launch day only runs on their AAA franchise.
A: If I understand your question correctly. Yes, The OLED console allows for use of the physical Nintendo Switch game cartridges. The only difference between the LOZ System and a standard OLED console is the systems theme. The system should come in with an internal 64GB storage. You can extend the storage with a MicroSD on the back of the console near the bottom.
Q: Does this come with a copy of the new Zelda game?
A: No, it does not. Game is sold separately.
Q: Does this version give us true 60 fps finally in handheld form?
A: Depends on the game. Metroid Prime Remastered, for example, will run at 60 FPS, while Tears of the Kingdom will run at 30 FPS. Everything will run the exact same as it does on a post 2019 Switch.
A: The game is not included.
A: Nothing is truly unlimited. However, I believe this has been in production since the original launch date for Tears of the Kingdom, which was originally set for some time in 2022. Because of the delay, they have had plenty of extra time to keep printing these consoles, which is why it has been so readily in stock (if you remember, the pokemon Scarlet/Violet OLED sold out nearly instantly in the beginning)
Q: What is the game that comes with it?
A: Comes with no games. This is the console only.

I grabbed the Nintendo Switch OLED Console - The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition in green, and it's like owning a piece of gaming art. The console is covered in detailed designs inspired by Tears of the Kingdom, with the back of the switch in black featuring stylish black swirls. The white dock is adorned with gold designs, giving it an elegant look, while the gold Joy-Con controllers boast unique green and white designs that tie the whole aesthetic together beautifully. Additionally, I bought a 1TB disk separately, so I can't comment on how large/small the storage capacity out of the box, is. Pros: - The design is breathtaking, with Zelda-inspired artwork that makes it a collector's item. - The OLED screen is a game-changer, offering vivid colors, enhanced contrast, and deep blacks that make every game look better. - Gameplay is smooth and seamless, thanks to the powerful internals of the console, ensuring no lag. - Exclusive content like themed wallpapers and custom menus adds to the unique experience of owning this edition. - Improved features such as better battery life, a sturdy kickstand, and a built-in Ethernet port in the dock enhance the gaming experience. Cons: - The upgrades, aside from the OLED screen, are not significantly different from previous Switch models, which might be a consideration for some. - There's a chance of experiencing Joy-Con drift, a common issue with Switch controllers. - The price is higher due to the unique design, which might not justify the purchase for those just looking for gameplay improvements. The OLED Switch has proven to be a fantastic upgrade, especially for handheld mode, with its impressive screen bringing games to life with richer colors and deeper contrasts. For fans of The Legend of Zelda, this special edition console is a dream come true, offering both a stunning tribute to the franchise and an enhanced gaming experience. While the availability and price might be a concern, for those who value both form and function in their gaming console, this edition is definitely worth considering.

For an extra $10 USD compared to the standard OLED edition of the Switch this purchase is pretty much a no-brainer if you're a Zelda fan. The prints on the controllers, console, and dock are all high quality and don't seem at risk of simply fading away after some use. Aside from the special design the console performs as you would expect for Nintendo hardware. You don't purchase it for the processing power, you buy it for the titles you can play on it. The mobility with the Switch lineup has always been great and the OLED model only builds on that. The rear kickstand is much more robust than the original Switch, the OLED screen really makes colors pop in handheld mode, and the larger screen while trading an ever-so-slight amount of pixel density for a smaller bezel and larger image is really nice. Despite it only being a few tenths of an inch larger it makes a noticeable difference. Overall it's a great purchase. Would recommend to anyone who is interested.

Speaking as someone who mostly plays with their Switch docked, I went into this knowing it was a frivolous purchase. I am pleasantly surprised to admit that I was (somewhat) wrong and the upgrade was totally worth the money! The difference between the OLED screen and the original switch screen is a massive improvement. I actually play handheld way more now because it just looks SO good. The colors are really vivid whereas the old screen looks washed out in comparison. I’ve been working on finishing up BOTW in preparation for TOTK, and I hate to over-exaggerate… but the improved clarity of the screen honestly makes it feel like a whole new game. Or it could be the fact that I hadn’t played the game in over a year. Either way, it looks fantastic. The gold design also complements nicely with the Skyward Sword Joy-cons. However, I highly recommend getting a tempered glass screen protector on this baby fresh out of the box as it can scratch quite easily.
