There are many things about this story-driven sci-fi game I love (and that description alone is a lot of it) and a few things I hate. It's a matter of preferences, probably. Base-building, survival, and resource production can be fun, but it's also stressful when there's too much to accomplish within time limits, it's not clear (except in hindsight) what to focus on first, and failing means the game ends. The game makes daily auto-saves, but you can paint yourself into a corner and need to revert back several days to stand a chance. I finished Act 1 and 2 by the skin of my teeth and looked up a "what will I need to prepare" guide in advance for Act 3. That said, the setting and story are fantastic. Some Alters (your clones) are insufferable, sure, but the experience as a whole was great.

I really enjoyed my time with this game. I found the base building a la Fallout Shelter to be cool if a bit limiting, The resource management and planet exploration was great and addicting. The story is where it really hit home to me.
