Great story with nice jump scares. Quite a bit of action throughout. Can’t wait to play through again and experience a different ending. Excellent graphics

As the franchise goes, House of Ashes is far and away the best installment. Great voice acting, compelling plot with good twists and turns, high-tensions environments, good jump-scares, and improved graphics / user interface from previous games makes this a great and replayable purchase.

Really enjoying this game. Basically an interactive choose your own adventure. The plot is engaging and the pacing is great. I wish the facial animations in particular were a bit better but they don't detract from the experience.

I have been playing all of these Dark Pictures Anthology games with a friend in the online two-player mode. I will say this might have been my least favorite of the series so far, but that's not to say it is a bad game at all. I just really like these games for the jump scares and this one seemed to have the least of them. There were also some strange glitches that I hope get patched out in the future. However, it did seem there was more actual gameplay in this and it wasn't as reliant on cutscenes as the other games in the series. My friend and I are definitely looking forward to next year's entry which is being labeled as Season One Finale.

So far enjoying the story, characters, environment, and dark tone. It's a narrative driven game when you get to decide the fate of individual characters, and I enjoy these types of games.

If you love the Dark Pictures Anthology series then this will not disappoint. Well maybe a little, it's not as scary as Little Hope but still follows all the same mechanics. I was surprised that some of the character models from previous games were reused. I was like "I feel like I've seen these people before...oh.!!!" moment.

If you're not familiar with the Dark Pictures Anthology series, they're horror games that play like choose your own adventure movies. This one involves a group of soldiers that run into some vampires during the Iraq war. OR DID THEY? DUN DUN DUUUUN... Definitely fun for some, but probably not for serious gamers. If you mainline Mtn Dew Game Fuel and shave yourself hairless every day with your Gillette Gamer Fusion Power razor, you might not enjoy this. Or you might. I don't know you.

I love the choose your own adventure type of games. Although the decisions don't always have a huge impact, it does add variety and increases replayabilty

Game is pretty good. A bit longer than I expected. Plenty of replayability too. Game reminds me of the The Hills Have Eyes 2 movie a little bit.

Coming from the creators of “Until Dawn” and “Little Hope” “House Of Ashes” is a little different shift from the other games, but still holds it’s own. As we know the creators like to use celebrity actors as some of the main characters in the game. You get to play as the star Ashley Tisdale who is one of the main protagonists in the game. This game is pretty thrilling and spooky too like the others! So if those two themes are right up your alley, then you’re on for a thrilling adventure.
