Where precision meets performance, the TTArtisan AF 35mm f/1.8 Mark II Lens is a remarkable addition to any photographer's kit. Crafted from robust 5052 aviation aluminum, this lens boasts an all-metal construction that seamlessly complements the aesthetic of modern cameras. Its lightweight design, now reduced from 199g to a mere 176g, ensures that photographers can enjoy extended shooting sessions without the burden of extra weight. This makes it an ideal choice for both everyday shooting and travel photography, offering unparalleled convenience and comfort. The lens features an optimized optical design, transitioning from 8 groups of 10 elements to 7 groups of 10 elements. This includes 2 high-refractive elements and 2 Extra-low Dispersion (ED) elements, which work together to maintain superior image quality while reducing the overall size of the lens. With a standard focal length equivalent to 53mm on a full-frame sensor, the 35mm focal length closely mimics the human eye's field of view. This versatility makes it perfect for a wide range of photographic scenarios, including street photography, landscapes, close-ups, and capturing daily moments. The large F1.8 aperture is a standout feature, allowing for exceptional performance in low-light conditions and creating beautifully soft background bokeh. This is particularly advantageous in portrait photography, where it helps the subject stand out and enhances the overall atmosphere of the image. Additionally, the lens offers a reduced minimum focusing distance of 0.4m, down from 0.6m, enabling photographers to capture intricate details and close-up shots with ease. This makes it especially suitable for photographing everyday subjects such as food, crafts, and other life scenes.Equipped with a fast and accurate autofocus system, the lens utilizes an STM and lead screw-type stepping motor. This technology supports autofocus recognition for eyes, animals, and cars, ensuring smooth and quiet focusing that allows photographers to capture remarkable moments effortlessly. The lens also features a Type-C interface for firmware updates, conveniently located on the rear lens cap, enhancing the lens's aesthetics while supporting image stabilization for video stability. Please note that a Type-C cable with data transfer functionality is required, and upgrades are best performed with a Windows system, preferably Windows 10.
