The N64 classic makes it's return on the Nintendo Switch. Turok plays smooth 60fps and has clean texture mapping and runs at high resolution. The fog that plagued the original N64 version is now gone! Controls play like a 90's shooter. Not overly complex and doesn't rely too much on precision shooting. The name of the game is strafing. For $30 you get a walk down memory lane which is completely worth it.

If you are a fan of the series or a limited switch game collector, this is a fun one to pick up. It plays great and honors the classic in every way. I had hoped this would include some revamped game modes like split screen campaign, but for 30 bucks a solid pick up.

Turok is a classic game I played growing up and it plays wonderfully on the switch! The finite adjustments to aiming afforded by the Switch platform is really neat but is trivial in this game where the hit boxes are rather large and precise aiming is less than important. The game itself includes an array of updates that modernize the experience and fix bugs from the N64 days without effecting the gameplay. The graphics are enhanced supporting the higher resolution of the Switch and does not look ugly or out of place (of course, this doesn't mean it looks like a modern game). Glad to have this game back in my collection on a platform I can enjoy while traveling.

This was never a great game, but I just can't not love it. It looks really good, sounds even better and it's a type of FPS no longer made. I liked it.

I was a kid when this game came out for the N64 and this HD remaster gets everything right. The controls are tight and responsive and the graphics looks great, especially on the Switch's portable display. It's only fitting to buy this on a Nintendo console. I keep telling myself ill play for 20 min then catch myself plating for 2 hours. Must buy for those looking for a classic FPS.

Awesome game from my childhood that looks and plays like a dream... only wish the sequel was more readily available.

Brings me back to the good ol days. It has definitely aged but the updated graphics and controls make it a must.

Game plays smooth and fast like the old doom games. I remember being terrified of the dinosaurs in this game as a kid on the N64 and I think the gameplay still holds up great. I love exploring the levels and finding secrets and keys and of course blasting tons of enemies.

I bought this to relive the past and play it again. A few hours later I couldn't believe how much I loved the game. The minor improvements make it enjoyable even today. I highly recommend getting this, I have a feeling it will be sought after. Great game! Now if they'd only remaster San Fransisco Rush!

The game is great. It has very minor frame rate dips, but all current versions on any console has that. It plays and looks just as good on the Switch. Holder, the digital copy is only $20, so... just consider that.

If you are after that old school N64 nostalgia, this game will do it! It plays great on the switch as well and I know the Limited Run version wasnt around for very long either so jump on it while you can.

I’m having a lot fun and frustration playing this game. I have issues sometimes when my button input to select on menus doesn’t respond. But it does eventually and you can use the touchscreen as well. The game has a in game achievements and motion aiming.

Played this in my N64 days and loved it! Love the idea that the switch generation has the opportunity to play it. Plus, I'm a physical copy collector too. Perfection.
