I've been wanting one of these for awhile. It's great to have documentation of what goes on on the road, especially nowadays with all the crazy road rangers out there. I purchased this at a great price. it was one of the deals of the day awhile ago. It's very compact and doesn't obscure your vision of the road. The screen is small, but very clear, I was surprised. The only downside I've found is that it needs to be constantly plugged in to work. Even though it holds a charge, it's not very long but that's to be expected with high powered video. If positioned correctly, shows the whole road in front and enough of each side of the road to record who turned out I to you. It's on a 3 minute loop but can detect when you brake too hard and records from then on.

I saw this about a year ago and watched the video. Was impressed but not sold for $100 bucks. When the technology made this model somewhat obsolete, and less expensive, I grabbed it up for $30.00. Excellent dash cam. Small screen but very clear. Long plug in cord allowed me to hide it around the windshield. Upgrade your memory card and there you go! Since buying this and seeing how well they work, I’d upgrade to a larger screened version. Didn’t buy the extended warranty and consider it more like a disposable lighter. If it takes a dump in a year, toss it and get an upgrade. If your unsure about spending 100 to 200 bucks on one, this is a great introductury version, but be aware the screen is small. Hope this helps!

Horrible quality both at daytime and night!! I have teenagers who are driving and I told them a dash cam was a must have. I purchased 3 of them since they were such a great deal. When I viewed the video from mine I was very disappointed with not only the quality but also the fact that you can barely read license plates during the day and at night it is impossible. After checking with other people I know who have different brands they all informed me that they could read plates just fine. To me this is a major deal especially if it comes to a hit and run or road rage instances among other things. I know the price is good and you get what you pay for, but I was expecting so much more. I will be returning all 3 unfortunately and looking to purchase new ones. I attached 2 photos below so you can see the quality at night and during the day. The only reason I am giving it 2 stars is because the cam actually does take video.

This is the second one I bought. Got both on the Black Friday sale for $30 I use one in my 18-wheeler and one in my personal vehicle. Good video quality for the price. It has basic features like motion detection and a G sensor. Comes with a 2G SD card but I recommend getting a bigger one. This paid for itself when someone backed into my 18-wheeler and once the other driver's company heard "dashcam" they didn't even argue. Only con is battery life. I keep mine on 24 hours and have to keep it plugged in because the battery won't last an hour after 6 months.

I picked up 3 of these last year and one this year during Black Friday (kicker deal). They work great and are easy to setup. Do not get a Sandisk Extreme, etc. card--ONLY the High Endurance cards (this only formats up to 32 gb) since the avg card has about 1,500 cycles (re-records/erase/re-record) on flash memory. But the endurance has over 10,000 (it is a slower card--but definately within the range for HD video). The unit has come out of the plastic mount--but a couple drops of Gorrilla glue fixes that. Good deal, works great - highly recommend. The only reason for the 4 vs 5 stars is because it won't support past 32 gb.

This dash camera is a low end camera for sure, but it works as it should. The screen is very small at 1.5 inches, so replaying videos on the dash cam is just not practical. It records up to 1 hour of footage. The controls are fairly easy to navigate. The playback on a computer is fairly good. It is worth the $30.

I bought this unit for my wife as she starts to feel uneasy with more and more frauds in car related accidents nowadays. It's easy to install and start to use, but after a few months of use, the part of the mount that holds the camera broke and rendered the dash cam useless.

Bought two but returned them because of low battery life - only 10 mins. I road tested and video quality is not bad at all but I don't like the fact it needs to be plugged in constantly bc only 10 mins battery life. It get in the way and prevents me from charging phone.

The quality is not the greatest but not horrible. I would NEVER pay the regular price for this as I would spend the extra for a Garmin (That is a great dash cam!). But, got this for my sons car (not the greatest of cars), so this works for him. This was on sale for 29.99 and it is a 29.99 dash cam. When it dies we will not be too disappointed for what we spend for it. I would only recommend if you get it on sale for 29.99!

I was waiting to review this camera and I noticed that the camera needs to reset too many times. It ca not hold the charge more than few minutes without the power cable. Video quality is good. I could not expect more for the price i paid.

I purchased this on sale for $29.99 from an original price of $79.99. So far so good. Screen is a little small but picture is clear. Don't forget to purchase the micro SD card to save your recordings.

This is a pretty powerful little dash cam that has a very nice price. Has many nice features and lives up to my expectations.

The camera works fine. I was a tad dissatisfied with the Gap between clips but for the price compared to other cams at much higher prices if t works quite well.

After experiencing several near miss situations, I was glad to see this camera on Deal of the Day. I hope I never need to use the video because of an accident but it is great peace of mind knowing that it’s there. I turn on the camera when I get in my truck and turn it off when I reach my destination. It’s as routine as putting on my seatbelt. Picture quality is acceptable and camera can be easily removed from the mount if necessary.

I've had this dash cam for nine months and it has worked well for me. It has a decent field of view and good images. The only downside I have is that the screen is so small it's hard to see when mounted to tell if it's recording or not. It's cheap insurance to have, none of my vehicles roll without a dash cam. Don't waste your money on those $20 dash cams, pay a little more and you'll find it's worth it.

Got this cam during Black Friday and I'm very happy with it. It's a bit smaller than the other dashcams but it's great for me. I don't like things obstructing my view on the windshield, so it's a great fit. It does the job in recording videos and audio. It comes with a long charger, no need to worry about charging it. It transfers well to the computer..overall a good dashcam for price paid.

Had it charged for 9hrs and put it in my car with out the charging cable and it died in 15minutes. Id expect at least something longer than that. But i guess it is what it is for the price. Otherwise it worked ok as a in dash camera

I was amazed at the video quality for this unit The camera captured much wider and extremely clear video. The audio even picked up people in the backseat. Would like to see one with a larger screen and easier to click buttons they are small.
