Cat 6 patch cord, also known as Category 6 network cable, is a twisted pair cable designed for Ethernet and other network physical layers. It consists of four twisted pairs of copper wires and can provide data transfer rates up to 1Gpbs per second and operate at frequencies up to 250 MHz.
