What is the life expectancy of these discs before they degrade and are no longer readable? I have been looking for M-DISCs on the Best Buy website and these appear to be the closest to them that Best Buy now carries.

Answered by AlanBBurns are not measured in time. The DVD is 4.7G, any item smaller than this will fit. Time has nothing to do with it. I have put movies on DVD that were longer than 180 minutes, smaller than 4.7G
