Viltrox - 26mm F2.8 EVO Z Pancake Lens for Nikon Z Mount - Black

The VILTROX AF 26mm F2.8 EVO for Nikon Z mount is a compact pancake lens built for everyday shooting on Nikon Z mirrorless cameras. At 23.8mm thick and 130g, it keeps your Z-mount setup small enough to carry anywhere, while still including a dedicated aperture ring with click stops and a smooth focus ring for hands-on control. The optical design uses 8 elements in 6 groups, including 2 aspherical and 1 high-refractive index element, to produce sharp, detailed images across the frame. A gear-type STM motor provides reliable, responsive autofocus that works with Nikon Z camera AF systems for everyday photo and video use. The 26mm focal length offers a natural, familiar perspective suited to street photography, travel, and daily life, wide enough to capture the scene while keeping compositions grounded. A 0.2m minimum focusing distance and 0.2x maximum magnification allow close-up shots of food, products, and fine details with soft background blur. The magnetic lens cap attaches securely and has a soft inner lining to protect the front element, the included hood doubles as a 43mm filter mount, and the built-in USB-C port allows firmware updates for continued Nikon Z compatibility. A sealing ring at the Z mount and a water-repellent front coating add protection when shooting outdoors. For Nikon Z shooters who want portability, manual control, and consistent image quality in one lens, the VILTROX AF 26mm F2.8 EVO is a practical everyday option.
