We purchased this phon for my father. He could no longer read the small letters and numbers on his other phone. He loved this phone and especially the speaker phone feature.

Exactly what it is. A land line with a base station with answering machine function and speaker but also comes with cordless handset. Great for home office or small office. Easy to use and great price.

The V-tech phone, corded and portable, was just what I needed. A base phone for downstairs and a portable phone for the upstairs bedroom. The phone has many great features for such a reasonable price. Quality is excellent. Easy to use.

It's difficult to find a corded phone anymore. This one however, had the features we wanted like speakerphone and answering machine, without features we don't care for. Additionally, I know from previous experience in sales, VTech is a reliable brand. The price was in line with what I wanted to pay.

i think we are the last of "home phone" users. This set up is great the main base sits in the kitchen and the cordless in the living room, the cordless has great range with no interference. having a built in answering machine is nice too. good buy from BEST BUY

It works well. It has a quiet mode. You pick how long you want it to be quiet. If you need big numbers, the numbers are big. It has a nice redial option. The phone screen is big also. Caller id works well with the phone. It has great sound! There is speaker phone. You can have the ringer on or off. The color is good.

I am using this phone in an area of a work building that is quite noisy. I purchased it so I can have a landline if we ever use power, and a handset for general use. We have several of these floating around buildings and they work great. Replacement batteries are cheap and can be easily found online. They are pretty standard across this version and older versions of this phone. This current one is in a Motor Control Center with a lot of Harmonics and Noise. Things that would effect frequency. I have no problems during most conditions, but when I start up Variable Frequency Drives, it messes with the frequency greatly and the sound on the other end drops from the handset. Once a drive settles it's fine. An odd off one I bet most buyers won't face. It has good range though in a very noisy environment. I don't have voicemail set up, but the address book was a nice feature. My only gripe is the LCD screen brightness which may be something I have to figure out how to enhance. But all in all, it serves its purpose for me at a super affordable cost.

You get a base phone that even has a speaker phone option and a cordless phone to use in a different room. The display on each one is big so that those of us with older eyes don’t have to squint to see it. It was reasonably price, and both phones are sharp looking.

Very good quality landline phone, display has large lettering and numbers. Easy to connect and set up different features. Comfortable handset and sound is very clear, no echoes and it doesn’t sound like you are talking into a tin can. Definitely a very good buy for the price.

Great features. clear sound. Replaced my elderly Aunt's 1980 phone. She's still learning how to use some features but the main one's like caller ID and answering machine, she has gotten down pat. So far so good. Great price too.

A very convenient phone and cordless phone to use. I installed the phone with little or no issues at all. I felt that the quality of the phone was overall good and the price was excellent.

I really like this phone. Good quality construction, in other words it doesn't feel cheap. So, I feel like its worth the extra money. The main base is well made and so far seems easy to learn the ends and outs of programming it. No complicated installation either, just plug it in and go, well make sure you charge it first. Very clear reception no matter what part of the house you're in. And I really like the speaker phone sound. Really clear. Best phone for the money In my opinion.

This is my first V-Tec product. I have always been a Panasonic person with this type of electronics. After a year I have not had any issues with this phone system. The batteries in the cordless units hold a charge just as good now as the day I bought them. I would definitely recommend this product.

This phone is for my small warehouse and having the cordless twin is great for mobility. Everything else, the answering machine and caller is work great as well. Nothing but what you need not the fanciest. Good value and price.

I can't say enough good things about this phone, it's so simple to use and set up. It's easy to transfer calls in a busy office and listen to voicemails. I like how the phone will play the voicemail aloud as the person is recording on the machine. I've picked up many calls that way that I ignored thinking it was a solicitor calling.

Phone had great range in my open office plan and worked well with the Internet phone router. Using the dial/call history and phone book features aren't particularly intuitive, the only drawback I can see so far.
