This hard drive is fast and large enough to store a multitude of files. It was also a breeze to install.

I have always been a fan of Western Digital products. My laptop was ver sluggish and needed (and now has) more space. New internal 1 TB HD installed and everything working beautifully!

I had this drive for about a few months and it is blazing fast and reliable unlike my Seagate barracuda I had I recommend this for people who don't want to lose data WD is quality.

Western Digital has a good line of hard discs. This fit perfectly in my rugged laptop. 1 T is enough to do most things I want to do.

So far no problems. It was easy to install in my ASUS laptop and is faster than the old one it replaced.

This is a great HDD for the price. The disk spins at a quick 7200rpm to load whatever you have saved on it quick.

I've been very satisfied with this hard drive. Installation in my laptop was easy and it's been working great. I was a little surprised to see it didn't come in retail packaging, just a blank cardboard shipping box.

Western Digital has supposedly improved their drives, although the only failures I've had using WD have been when I've accidentally dropped them on a cement floor. By contrast, I've had other brands suffer hard drive failures after 6-24 months, usually after heavy access activities. Since larger capacity drives have 1 TB platters, the single platter 1TB seems to offer more stable performance and less power consumption reduced over multi platter drives. Compared to my older 750GB 5900 blue WD drive, this ran much cooler. Can't compare SSD in terms of speed but more than adequate space and much cheaper.
