this is a pretty decent TV stand for the price, and it looks good. I knocked a point off for the condition, which could be due to shipping or QA, I have no way to know. I ordered it from Best Buy and it came pretty quick, given the fact that we are in the middle of a pandemic. It did not come in great condition, it had a crack in the baseboard, and a few other minor cracks and scratches. The baseboard was significant, because it’s ability to hold weight was severely compromised. In other words, the crack resulted in the baseboard bending in the middle, and it would break, if not for the fact that it was supported on the bottom frame. Having said that Whalen customer support is good, and they answered the phone pretty quick and had the part in stock to send out. However, I put the thing together, not wanting to wait around, and I am probably going to call him and tell them not to bother sending the other piece. I don’t plan on putting anything heavy on that bottom baseboard anyway. Plus it would be a nightmare to dismantle this just to insert the replacement bottom board. Overall, this is a 3 - 4 stars, because, despite the damage, it came together okay, is functional and looks good. But since I have to round off to t whole number, I am definitely rounding down to 3, for overall experience. (Cosmetic scratches/dents, I'd give a 4, no scratches or dents, I'd give a 5 - I feel like that is pretty fair, and helpful to those reading these reviews.

Great price for the value! This tv stand perfectly holds my 65 inch televisions with room to spare. It’s heavy, sturdy, and built to last. There is plenty of room for media as well. In addition to my large sound receiver, I also have a Blu-Ray player, two gaming systems and tons of room left over. I highly recommend this tv stand!

The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 was b/c of the packaging for one. The packaging was completely falling apart when it was delivered.. A couple of the pieces did have scratches on them, and one was almost broken... but thankfully the scratches were on the back and not visible... and the piece that was broken was not broken all the way thru... it just made us nervous when putting the screws on, thinking it was going to brake it worse.. But didn’t.. Other than that, I absolutely Love the TV stand.. It goes great in my living room, and my 65” TV fits perfectly on it.. It also has plenty of room, for everything.... it fits our WII, Nintendo Switch Console, our router, blu-ray player and cable box.. Plus plenty of extra room for movies and our Nintendo controllers.. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase..

So, I bought this for my new 70" UHD TV thinking that it would have all the space in the world to hold it and then some... Wrong! The overall stand itself is cool and took me less than an hour to build myself so, that part is fine. However, when I went to place the 70" on it, I discovered that it's not even close to being big enough to support it. The top of the stand is not width friendly enough to support the width of the TV. It is hanging on by a thread on both sides and I fear that with the slightest "bump" into it, it's going to fall off and shatter. The stand is not bulky which is a huge plus. It is heavy as you might expect but, that's also a good thing. I see others have commented on what its made with and how it's made but, for me, I'm ok with those things because for the price, I got exactly what I was expecting (except the width for my 70"). I'd love to give this stand a 5 Star rating because it's great but, the smaller than expected surface area to hold "up to" a 70" is a bit misleading. It should say, "Up to a 65".

The box fit in my suv, but needs 2 strong people to carry inside. I assembled it all by myself except for the doors. My hubby helped with that. It’s tricky, but with persistence, it all clicked in. Make sure you open latch all the way, slide it in while button at end is held down. Let go and it should click in. Then you need to loosen and tighten the screws so that the doors hang straight and don’t rub against the bottom shelf. I love the slow close hinges and the open shelf is great for my electronics that need good ventilation. I needed closed cabinets to hide my junk and this tv stand does the trick.

Picked up this unit at the Best Buy outlet and it turned out to be a great TV stand. Used the BILT app for easy assembly instructions and had no issues. It has plenty of storage, fits my Xbox Series X with lots more room to spare. Overall fit and finish of this tv stand is fantastic.

The entertainment center is sturdy with a classic finish that looks very nice in our living room. It was relatively straightforward to put together, however the hinges of the door proved to be a little difficult. Other than that its a great product and would overall recommend

Like others mentioned that it was a bit of a pain putting together. However we knew this going into it so it helped. It took a few attempts to get the hinges lined up correctly so that the door fitted properly and would completely close. They are nice hinges in that they do the slow close so no slamming. Quality is great and for the price perfect. We have 4 consoles and all the other home electronics and it holds it all well.

It's well made Yes it is fiberboard but even high end speakers use fiberboard, it looks good, It can support a nice amount of weight. For the price I think it's a very good deal.

Building it was fine. Lots of steps. Didn’t like that I had to glue all the pegs (this comes with glue to glue them in place). 3 of the 4 doors are crooked and scape the bottom. I tried adjusting the doors and came to the conclusion that the manufacturer drilled the holes wrong. Really the only positive thing is it’s very sturdy.

I was a bit worried when purchasing this product due to past reviews. The packaging was robust and due to that all of the components came perfect fine. Instructions were just as you expect with a DIY unit. What I am really impressed about was the solidness of the complete unit. All shelves are real wood. Top counter of unit is built well...it can hold up as the literature states. Most reviewers stated the doors were a hassle. They can be if you rush. Take your time, read the setup directions that are on stickers right next to the hinges and you are golden. One suggestion is to remove the hinge apparatus on each door, install those to the cabinet portion of the hinge THEN mount the doors back to the hinge. After a bit of calibration of the hinge adjustment screws you are good. Lastly please be aware the box is well over 5’ and weighs nearly 75 pounds. A trailer is recommended.

This is a great looking tv stand I use it for my LG OLED 65in. It fits perfectly. The directions are a tad hard but if you’re good at reading directions for assembling furniture you’ll be fine. Had a problem with a couple hinges getting the doors to click into the stand. Other than that it’s a great piece! VERY HEAVY!!!!
