My reasons for such a low rating is based on my contacting with whirlpool’s Rep to register my dryer. The representative of whirlpool stated, “I need to apply for additional warranty coverage due to the fact that the dryer lifespan is only expected to last four years”. I paid nearly $900 for the dryer and to be told it most likely conk out in 4 years, is absolutely disgusting. My enthusiasm with my purchase completely decreased. I really hope her synopsis is incorrect.

It takes forever to dry a small load. Basically it takes 100 minutes to dry a small load of towels. I'd send it back but it's the only dryer that will fit in the tiny space we have. If you have another choice take it.
