Very nice cooktop. My biggest issue is that one of the knobs melted while I was cooking. Given the price for this cooktop, Whirlpool could have made better knobs.

We love the new cooktop and it looks great and performs well. The installers were very courteous and professional also and answered all our questions.

Love, love it!!! Great Value!!! Only one thing that the designers overlooked, is how easily it ignites when you place something accidentally over the controls. The large beautiful grill is easy too clean.....

Beautiful. I love the different burner sizes. I have the 30 inch but my daughter has a 36 inch and I love them both.

I only had a 30 inch space and this range top has five burners in that small space! It is so efficient and quickly heats up everything.

Replaced a 4 burner and replaced with this. Love the layout and extra burner. The flip grates are great for cleaning below them. Easy to clean. Easy to install myself.

Purchased a suite of Whirlpool appliances from Best Buy. Didn’t do much research on Whirlpool gas cooktops but was looking for the Suite Package and saw this one. Almost went with the 4 burner and instead purchased the 5 burner. So far so go. Really like the look of it, easy to clean. Haven’t noticed anything with respect to the knobs like another reviewer has. Upon installation it was not apparent that there were scratches all around the knobs. (see pictures) When looking straight down over the top of the knobs you don’t see the scratches. Used it one time and started to wipe it down with a sponge and looked at the knobs at an angle and saw the scratches. In retrospect, I was watching the installers and one of the helpers was focusing on the knobs to the left and didn’t think much of it at first. When I inspected the unit before the installers left I looked straight down over the top of the knobs and did not see the scratches. (My installer was great. Don’t remember his name. Answered all of my questions with patience. His “helpers” seemed mostly to get in the way. I don’t think he needed both of them. One would have been enough.) The scratches are not deep and may be superficial but it is hard to tell. Tried to rub them out with a soft cloth and Whirlpool recommended cleaner, but it did not work. If Whirlpool can “buff” out the scratches there would be no need to return the product for a replacement. This will have to be replaced. Appliances cost too much money to have to accept something not in perfect condition. Otherwise I would definitely recommend.

The installers were not very skilled. Luckily, we had our contractor here and he supervised and prevented them from making unnecessary cuts to our cabinets underneath the stovetop. That said, the stovetop looks great, works well and is easy to clean.

I love it! Of course, it had a low bar...my previous stove was about 50 years old, only 2 knobs worked, and it was an old-school gas stove with a pilot light that went out every 2 days and needed to be relit and gas leaks in between. Still, so far so good... this new stove is wonderful. I've had it about a month now. so easy to clean, and love the 5 burners and the superboil burner! True, I do wish the knobs were metal instead of plastic, and it did get a little smudge on it the first week that won't come off. But ..still, a great improvement.

I like it. It cleans easily as the metal grates come off nicely. I thought I wanted a higher BTU cooktop. This one is good enough for our normal cooking. The "melt" setting on one burner is helpful. A very low setting, good for melting butter. If your going to boil large pots of water often, then maybe the bigger BTU is for you.

Went from a 4 burner cooktop to this new 5 burner one and am not disappointed. Having the extra burner comes in handy when having people over or for family gatherings. Been getting lots of compliments on the look of the cooktop and have had no issues with the performance.

Pleased with the spacing of the burners. We can fit multiple pans on the cooktop. Good burner control. Easy to clean and burner pieces can be placed in the dishwasher.

We replaced our aging cooktop with this one and we are amazed Whirlpool managed to add a fifth burner in the same space as we had for four. This has really given us a lot of flexibility in cooking options. It is a bit tight, but completely manageable. The hinged burner grates are a really convenient feature, but make sure that the upper cabinets will accommodate the grates when they are up. Ours just barely cleared the sides of the upper cabinets. So precise centering on that 30" wide opening is crucial. Now I am looking for a griddle attachment/accessory. Nice going Whirlpool!
