We bought the companion washing machine a couple of months back out of the box and been patiently waiting to find this dryer out of the box at a nearby BestBuy ever since. Now that we have the unit, we couldn't be happier! Whirlpool really has outdone itself with this compact washer and dryer pair. The dryer uses a heat pump and smart technology to offer an amazingly efficient drying system! The unit does require reading the user manual as the technology is not conventional. Clothes are dried at a much cooler temperature, therefore nothing shrinks, colors don't fade, and overall you've saved some money on your electricity bill. Additionally, the unit has the option to drain extracted water or put it in a reservoir. We chose to use the reservoir and recycle the water extracted for other non potable purposes! Excellent, compact, and innovative dryer.

I received this washer after I had to return a lemon LG washer . Whirlpool was always my first choice and I am very very pleased .

Me buying this product was necessary. I have a very old home with 24in doorways. This was the only one that fits. While in the store, I didn't realize that it's ventless. When I got it delivered, the installers and I were pleasantly surprised. The drying time is a little longer than regular ones. Overall, I'm satisfied.

Drys really well on some settings, but I haven’t figured out how to change the dry settings even using the manual. Sometimes have to run it through 2x. There’s a water reservoir that needs to be emptied each time. I like the reminder light to remind you to empty the lint.

Like that it's a ventless dryer so it can be installed anywhere, good dryer even though it takes a long time to dry clothes. It says one of the filter needs to be changed only once every 5 x but the warning light came on after only 1 use. The filter was very clean.. I reset it, we will see if it happens again.

I live in a very small mother-in-law type apartment so space is critical. I was concerned that this small unit would not handle a full load of laundry, it works beautifully. It's also much quieter than the unit that had been here.

I picked electric over gas due to the compact size of this one. Gas dryers tend to be cheaper. Nonetheless this is a good dryer.

This is perfect for two of us, takes up very little space, easy to use and lots of features we did not have in our old Dryer

I was unhappy with the performance of this dryer. I did not realize it would take 2 hours to dry one queen size sheet or a very small load of cottons. There are too many digital control options. Sometimes technology is great but other times it gets in the way of ease of use.

Works very well. The filters need cleaned often and drying times are a little longer than traditional dryers, but still a very good product.

I’m happy with the products, we had a spacing issue and couldn’t install other machines because they didn’t fit on the closet so all the process of finding the correct ones, and install them took about 40 days. I’m not happy with the time that it took but the machines are great and they work perfect! The delay was mainly because they didn’t have the stacking kit in stock in the warehouse and the supplier took 3 weeks to ship it. Overall, I’m happy with the service, they were polite and willing to help along the process, and try to deliver as soon as possible. I would recommend the products; just be sure they have the stacking kit as well.

These are great! I love the fact that they are small but still goes the work amazing!

We really like this device. One funny thing about it...it doesn't have a lint exhaust but instead has a drawer you empty. Honestly, I wish all dryers had this since out you have to be careful and always make certain your lint exhaust pipes are clear.

This Whirlpool dryer works great so far. I wanted a smaller size appliance, and this dryer, like m my washer, filled my order. Love the automatic adjustments to the size of one's load and the amount of time to dry that load.

Really like the efficiency of this heat pump dryer, but one must expect a difference in this versus a "normal" dryer. It does take longer to dry items and two filters to clean. Love the setting for bulky/bedding and the size of the drum for a compact unit.

Capacity is small but we knew that going in. Biggest problem is that it has a major lint issue. I clean regular lint filter w/each load and I clean lower lint filter when red light comes on to tell me to do so. However when I lift the regular lint collector inside dryer I pull gobs and gobs of lint from down below it. This is messed up. When I take the foam lint collector out from down below to clean as instructed there is a metal grate that is totally clogged with lint. Each month I spend 45 mins- 1 hour on the floor w/ my vacuum cleaner and a toothpick trying to pick the lint out of the grate so that air can get thru and dry my clothes in a reasonable amount of time. Otherwise it gets totally clogged and my clothes take forever to dry and it is prob hard on the motor. This will be 2nd time I have had to call in the extended warranty...maybe I have a lemon or maybe this is normal?

Had to go small -- only 25 inches of depth. This dryer was double the cost of normal dryer, but stacks nicely on top of small washer. Just choose defaults (like NORMAL) and press run button and its all set. Have to empty small water tray after each load (since this dryer is VENTLESS) and clean off a bit of lint.

The only reason why I gave this dryer a 4 star is because it takes a lot longer to dry clothes than dryers with a vent but it is perfect for small spaces.

I use other Whirlpool stack washer & dryers and am always pleased. This dryer being ventless requires dumping a container of condensate after drying clothes. I still prefer the vented dryers, but the dryer works if no vent is available.
