A: I have used this washer and it is much quieter than my 4YO upper tier Samsung. I am very happy overall with the purchase of this machine.
Q: What pedestal model will work with this Whirlpool dryer?
A: undefined
Q: Will this dryer stack on model WFW5620HW washer?
A: Hello Fawks! Yes, these two models will stack together. We hope this helps.
A: It may be because the "Damp Dry" option is selected...page 7 in the owner manual/instructions talks about the Damp Dry Signal saying the Damp Dry signal is selected as a default for Bulky Items/Normal, Bulky Items/Wrinkle Control, and Bulky Items/Heavy Duty cycles, as a reminder to manually reposition bulky loads midway through if you want to. If you don't want that reminder I'm thinking all you have to do is be sure to disable/de-select the "Damp Dry' option. I'll pay attention to that next time and see if that's what the issue was. Such much to learn, but so far so good! Thanks Whirlpool.
A: Yes the washer has the dispenser that holds 30 loads of detergent. Yes its interest free for 18 months. I believe they do haul off old units, cant remember if its included because I didnt need that but I remember reading it somewhere when I was doing all my research and thinking that's cool...but double check. Not sure about the hoses being universal.

Works great and looks great too! Not as quiet as I expected but I love it.

This dryer works well for me, but it has its quirks. I read many reviews where people say it doesn't fully dry their clothes. If you want this dryer to dry your clothes, do 2 things: 1) Turn off EcoBoast, 2) Used timed dry only. Timed dry lets you choose the drying temperature and the length of drying time. I've dried towels, sheets, blankets and various types of clothing using timed dry and have not had a problem with this dryer. I can get King size Cotton Percale sheets dry in 30 minutes, Bath towels in 40 minutes, King size heavy cotton blanket in 60 minutes, and clothes in 30-40 minutes depending on the size of the load and the type of clothing (delicates on low, jeans on high, athletic clothing on medium, etc). The dryer rack is great on this model for drying shoes or sweaters that need to be dried flat. I haven't tried the steam dry feature yet so can't comment on that. I knocked off a star for 2 reasons: 1) The sensor drying features do NOT work. I tried drying a blanket using the blanket setting for a king size heavy cotton blanket and it didn't work at all. The cycle ended (after an hour and 40 minutes) and the blanket was still extremely wet. (Note: Using the Timed Dry feature for the King size heavy cotton blanket on high heat, the blanket took 60 minutes to dry). I paid a lot of money for a dryer that I will use at its most basic settings (timed dry only), but it's hard to find a dryer that ONLY does the basics anymore. 2) the "cycle complete" signal is not very loud. I've adjusted it to the highest level and it's still too quiet. My dryer is in my garage so I need a loud signal to hear it in my house. On my old Whirlpool Duet I could easily hear the signal when it was done, but on this one it's impossible (the old Duet signal was a "buzz" sound, this one is a chime which is probably more pleasant, but way too soft).

It's a good machine, but it takes a longer time to dry than others I have used and I am not at all a fan of having to hold the start button until a count of three before it will start. Also it seems to roll bigger items into a ball and not dry it completely unless you remove it and put it back in again. Last minus, I don't think the sensor is too accurate for the sensor drying on smaller loads. But on the plus sides, it does a great fob steam sanitizing ( I use that for pillows fairly often). The machine is good and made in the USA (which is why I bought it) but I'm not thrilled. That said for a dryer it does work well, just not what I am use to I guess.
