I decided to buy WildHearts upon watching my best friend playing it. We loved to play Monster Hunter Rise together so he gave WildHearts a go and he liked the game alot and then he showed me it. I was interested in it so I ordered it online and started playing it. The character customization is very detailed so one can just spend an hour alone on it. The tutorial was good too being it eased you in the game. Graphics are good. Story is great so far. Really have not experienced lag while I playing with my friend online. Have not noticed glitches at all. The new Karakuri mechanic makes the game a little better then Monster Hunter. The Kemono ((monsters)) are well designed and each have their own fighting mechanics. The in game world is also beautifully done as well. Will recommend. Give it a chance if you are a Monster Hunter veteran.

Wild Hearts is monster hunter esque style of game, but don’t let that comparison make you think it is a total rip off or less than monster hunter. Wild Hearts has its own quirks that make it just as awesome if not more so, I hope there is a sequel because I was hooked with the gameplay! Can’t get enough of using the claw blade and even went all the way through a cannon build as well. Really loved this game, so if you love monster hunter, I would definitely say give this a game a try. Even if you don’t like, or haven’t played monster hunter and you are intrigued with wild hearts I would say to pick it up as well!

Game is great. Enjoyable. Happy that Koei is making Monster Hunter like games.

As a fan of monster hunter from developer Capcom, I was very curious when I heard Wild Hearts was announced as a competitor to MH. I went ahead and bought it after I heard it was a decent hunting game, and sure enough, it is! The mechanics are cool and it gives it its own flavor so that it’s not a straight copy of MH. The graphics are great and the monster designs are unique. This game is definitely a foundation for a better sequel in the future. I luckily found this on sale for $40, but I think this game is worth full price.

As a monster hunter fan, I love how this game gives me a fresh take with the monster hunter style game loop. The power fantasy of summoning huge karakuri to attack gives it a fun twist. The drop in drop out coop with other players is a fun bonus too. I got it on sale at $30 bucks and it was 100% worth the money.

Wild HEarts is a great monster hunter alternaitive and it has a whole host of differences including building things around the map, building things in battle and more complex weapon trees. I'm not fond of the lock-on system present in the game and the framerate in performance mode is freaking rough and the image quality is terrible in that mode as well.

Since everyone compares this to monster hunter, I'd like to say I enjoy it way more. They both could probably learn from each other but by far this game is more fun with the world building and having more instruments to your disposable for hunting monsters The weapons are pretty dope and the game looks great

I am a big time monster Hunter head and this game is insanely fun. It takes monster hunter and simplifies a LOT of it, then adds on-the-fly building. I really, really wish I had gotten this at launch.

Most fun game unexpectedly from EA. If you've played and or liked monster hunter, then this game is that liked with studio Ghibli and the building mechanic is fast and snappy.

Pros and Cons Pros: + karakuri system is unique and dynamic + unique weapon types and monsters + beautiful visuals Cons: - frame rate stuttering - Weapons are gatekept by progression overall the game is worth your time, although there are noticeable stuttering with framerate, and weapons are locked until a decent amount of progress in the story is made, there is a lot of fun to be had solo or with friends

Awesome Hunter game. Best next to MH. Gameplay is fun. Environments are interesting. Building mechanics are cool. Armor and weapons look cool. Really enjoying this one.

Very entertaining game that I’ve been playing for hours on end. Very much like monster hunter with building traps and using gadgets. The game can get repetitive but still fun.

If you like Monster Hunter, this is a great alternate. Gameplay and style are very MH inspired. Very fun game.

Successfully hits that addicting grind like monster hunter does while having enough unique spins on the genre to make it it's own thing. Only complaint is the music mostly meh

This game is a bit disappointing to be honest. Like all monster hunting games it really shines if you have multiple people to play with, however if you are playing by yourself, be prepared to spend a very long time fighting a single monster along with a few deaths every now and then. The battles get pretty repetitive, as there is not a whole lot to change up battle styles or abilities. The building and crafting is a joke, I was thinking I would be able to build lots of things to create a base of my own, but I am only limited to a very very small number of things to place. The monster designs are the only thing giving this review an extra star, just wasn't for me.

This is definitely a MH clone, but it has some great graphics, solid mechanics, and is alot of fun to play. I would say this is perfect for anyone who tried the monster hunter series and thought it was a bit clunky abd difficult.
