Works great - provides good coverage in areas without power. Long battery life. The spotlight is nice a bright.

We have several of these cameras and decided to add one outside. It is very clear and works very well. It has a battery which is lasting a long time and we haven’t had to charge it yet. You can also buy a solar piece to change it. We may do that at some point. We leave it run continuously too. It alerts us if anything is detected a person, animal ect. We are very happy with this camera and the quality of it as well. We absolutely recommend the Wyze cameras !!

Great camera, easy to setup and configure. I would suggest that you pick up extra batteries to have hot spares.

I bought this to replace an old Ring Spotlight Cam that had terrible playback video. I have several other wyze cameras around my home, which are plugin, but work well so I didn't hesitate to buy this. It was cheap and is dual band and can be connected to a solar panel. Set up was easy and only took a few minutes. It can with screws for install as well. After set up was complete, I tested it out with adding the solar panel. Color was great and picture was clear even when zooming in. My only initial complaint was that it didn't record and log any motion events, only people events. After going into the settings and turning off automation and changing some settings, it still would not log any motion events even when my other wyze cameras pointed in a similar area would. The next day I added a solar panel and suddenly motion events were being recorded and logged. The solar panel has a USB c connection and is located on the bottom on the camera. There is a small lightning bolt indicator that displays when you turn on live view to indicate when it's being charged. I'm glad my issue has been resolved and hope for no additional issues.

I decided to try Wyze cameras for indoor snd outdoor use. I also have a Blink outdoor camera which I completely loved! The only reason why I switched to Wyze is because I needed a white color camera for my front garage door per the association rules, and Blink does not make outdoor cameras in white! Plus, this camera was affordable and received somewhat decent reviews. Also, I love the convenience of how easy it is to pull out the battery for charging. Well, after having this camera a little over a year I am experiencing nothing but issues with connectivity using my WiFi! I don’t have this issue with the Wyze indoor plug-in cameras. But it is a total disappointment to constantly have to restart/troubleshoot the camera to get it to work! Now I’m going to have to find another camera to replace that one, because it won’t cooperate! Save your money and go with a better brand!

This is a great camera for local monitoring without a subscription.

I love the sensor for the light, its my favorite part. It will only record when it senses movement.

wyze will only record a snap shot to the sd card only every 5 minutes. will not record video. went in today to see if it was to late to return and i missed it by 3 days. forgot about it. also the motion detection is bad . do not buy. but a eufy instead.

I received the package with 2 cameras missing in the boxes problem not solved.

Great outdoor security camera with spotlight. Wireless feature is a plus, so I ordered extra battery to switch out when needed. Like that its 2.4 and 5g for connecting to wifi. I recommend this camera. It also c omes at a good price!
