After owing an Xbox, and an Xbox 360, I knew I wanted to stick with the Xbox One for my new console. I love the large hard drive and insane graphics. What I don't love is there is no backwards compatibility, so I can't play any of my Xbox 360 games. So, both systems are currently plugged into my tv right now. Other than that (which might change in the future), the new system interface is pretty nice, and if you're familiar with a 360, this will not be a hard transition. Also, I bought the version with no Kinect sensor, and there really seems to be no reason to own one.

Do not sell your xbox 360. There is no backwards compatibility for xbox 360 games. I bought it because I was excited about playing Destiny with my friend who has an xbox one. I could not play Destiny with him from my xbox 360! I traded in my xbox 360 and games thinking that I'd never miss them with the new xbox. That was a premature decision. I was looking forward to playing the new Borderland PreSequel but found out later that it is is not made for xbox one. Super disappointing because Borderlands is by far my favorite game ever! I ended up buying back a used xbox 360. The texture and graphics details are amazing, even close up. Your last game is always loaded and ready to play instantly. The menu is upgraded and quit intuitive. I mostly use xbox for games and the occasional movie, so the other functions are of little importance to me. If the xbox one was backwards compatible I would have given it an easy score of 5!

I got this system based on being able to play online with friends. My 360 is fine and there are times i regret the purchase of the xbox one because it seems a waste. Really wish the xbox one played 360 games. The dashboard is okay and the control is nice. I got the system cheaper by not getting the kinect, which only has a few uses at this point. If you don't need a new system, I'd stick with what you've got.

The console itself is great; quiet, fairly compact, and easy to install. The Operating system is a freaking nightmare: • Complicated user interface • Having to install every game before you play is rediculous • The kinect feature is cool, but it should come with a written manual of voice commands • Does not recognize 1080i only 1080p so if you have a 1080i TV it will display at 720p • No Backward compatibility Don't get me started on the "New" Xbox Live for the One... The only reason I got this thing is to play Destiny with my wife... cause oh yeah... it's single player no split screen.. Yup you guessed it I have two of these things... Right now the only game we play on it IS Destiny! "I would recommend this to a friend"... only so we can have another fire team member on Destiny....

It's what I expected though it's very disappointing that it isn't backwards compatible; it's basically like a whole new console since you have to keep your 360 hooked up to play any of your old favorite games. It's a windows 8 or a new windows smart phone but on a console.

Got this to use in addition to my Xbox 360, to bad there is no backwards compatibility, but not a deal breaker. While I am not anti-Kinect, I am not a fan of putting an Internet connected mic and camera in my living room.

I've rally enjoyed the system since purchase and would recommend it to others. Sad about the lack of backwards compatibility, and not being able to use digital downloads I've accumulated over the years on Xbox 360. Can't wait for the library to grow including Destiny.

This is clearly a great product, but for the money I'm shocked MS couldn't make it backward compatible with Xbox 360.

The Xbox One is a great gaming console. It's not backward compatible with the 360 sadly but it's worth the upgrade.

I like the new Xbox One but hate that it's not compatible with Xbox 360. I have been buying Xbox 360 games for years and none of them are compatible with my new Xbox One. I will also have to buy a new Kinect as that also isn't compatible.

Great price, but not backward compatible. Also very easy to setup

2 major cons: Xbox 1 console not backwards compatible; cant play 360 games on it. Havent noticed much difference in video quality from 360 games. Another is that there has not been very many next gen games released; however there are suppose to be some on the way. Pro: Fast and efficient Powerful processors Ram went up to 8Gs Smooth UI
